As soon as my tax refund shows up, I'll be ordering mine. My old XB has always had the race can and ECM, the difference to stock is huge. I expect this was done on the engine dyno and is the map we would get if there was no EPA. Thanks in advance EBR Z |

Thanks Dsmcg. That is making waiting for the snow to melt even harder. |

So, a stupid question. What happens if a dealer tries to upload the latest flash to a race ECM ? Is the ECM locked so that it will not work or is it overwritten ? |

went out and tried to start the bike 30 degrees did not want to start finally did after about 5 tries so I guess cold start could still be a issue. if you are taking it to a dealer i'd switch out the ECM. If they see the race ECM they could flag your VIN and deny you warranty coverage |

Yes. And my bike started at 28F after sitting overnight on the first press of the button. |

Waiting for the snow to melt here. It'll be a while before I get to ride, much less Dyno, so I look forward to your Dyno results. |

the apex full exhaust is hand made and it will take 30 to 60 days to get it so if someone else wants one they better order while snow is on the ground.... |

I think I may have to buy one. My 1125 runs good now with the Drummer. I can't wait to see what it runs like with the ecm. |

Why do you always chime in and try to redirect threads? If the discussion drifts, so be it. This tread still looks ECM related to me. |

I'm not too interested in exhaust fabrication lead times when I'm looking for EBR Race ECM information. Mixing valuable information in one thread makes information hard to find. |

There was only 1 post related to lead times of the FMF pipe, which is relevant to this discussion. Not sure how its making information harder to find, as it is only contributing to the available knowledge. |

Wow Chris, at least it was related to the thread. We all have the need to know what combinations this ECM can tolerate and fuel properly. |

I also ordered a big block of cheese for the winers here.....because cheese is always good with wine... |

I thought the ECM was carved from Cheese. It is from WI after all. |

Besides wine and cheese, the Race ECM can be ordered with the BAS (Bank angle sensor) functional, and the eshift capability eliminated. |

I couldn't care less about the bank angle sensor, but what do I need to utilize the quick shifter? |

I think it's been stated that the bank angle sensor wiring is used for the shifter on the race ecm. |

you'd care for the BAS if you ever dump your bike and it lays on it's side, running and starving for oil and no BAS to shut it down. |

So this might be a dumb question, but with the quick shifter enabled on the ecm...is there a kit to buy/make? I like that capability. |
