Alright guys i have a question... I was recently at a dealer and they had an Black HMF exhaust hanging on there wall, a service guys said that it'd been there for a while and to talk to parts about getting a deal on it. So i did and long story short they said i could have it for 383$ (manufacturer's cost). I was REALLY tempted to get it, i'd rather have an FMF slip on, but for the price its hard to beat... i told them i'd call them next week to see if i wanted it, so do you guys think this is a good deal for a BRAND NEW HMF exhaust? Thanks for your help, Jake |

You can get the hmf 350 shipped on eBay by best offer. Also I got an fmf from a guy on eBay for 399 paid him direct |

I like the fmf I have it on my cr. I ordered the hmf for my r for something different. I am picking up that bike tomorrow and should have the hmf in a few days. |

Also, American Classic Motors lets them go for under $375 shipped. |

My advice would be to make sure you get a firm ETA from anyone on eBay. I waited a MONTH for my HMF on eBay. I pretty much gave up on it ever arriving. |

Don't know about the HMF, but the FMF Apex slip-on is completely inappropriate for the street. Even with the "db reducer" installed, loud is a huge understatement. I'd be embarrassed to have one in-town. |

Wow i just ordered a HMF of the bay... i hope it doesn;'t take a month to get... ..in a month i won;t be at my moms house to recieve it, she would have to ship it again, that would suck... the Vendor said it would be shippied in a week and i did get an "in processing" email from HMF... i guess we'll see Personally if i had an HMF pipe sitting on the shelf at a local outlet to buy, i would BUY IT.. but thats just me. My time is worth a little bit more money. |

I'm not wanting to come off as an a-hole here, but didn't you just post a thread on how you have no home and basically no money for housing? My recommendation would be to put your priorities into getting you and your father into a place to live before purchasing an exhaust. http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/406 2/535080.html?1265113000 |

Picked up the r this morning. Won't be home until tomorrow. Funny I don't think the fmf is loud |

99- I didnt make myself clear in this post, im sorry for that, but what i ment to say was that the dealer would hold it until we got over our dilemma of losing our home, i was just wondering if everyone thought it was a good deal, so that i could have them hold it or if they think i could get a better deal elsewhere. Trust me when i say that my top priority is finding a new home. Hd- I cant wait to see your comaprison. One more thing is that id prefer the blue HMf to the black...but idk the deal is tempting.
