My packing burned out at 5k.These manufactures should tell the consumer what kind of maintenance schedule applies to the product. The case formed repack kits were 30 bucks plus shipping.Anything that has packing in it that close to the header will burn out.O well they sold enough pipes. |

I know it's b--- sh-t that's why I went my own route. Half of the pipes out their are like this only a few don't fall in this category. If you have a cf model you'll notice the epoxy get discolored and will look dry looking. 5 k that's where I was at. I wasn't happy. Stay tuned to dyno results tommorow . That's what led to this. Oh the free spirits exhaust has two canisters to pack. Imagine how much time and money that'll cost. And not to mention it hangs low to the ground . Which is unsafe IMHO . Oh it's over 1200.00 dollars to and they discolor I hear. |

Blackflash, Actually the free spirits has no packing, it uses a spiral type baffling system similar to a moroso muffler... Jake Btw- i DEFINITELY like the way your pipe is tight against the bike, and the fact that i would probably never have to re-pack it!! When its settled and proven I'll be in line, once i have the money!! GIT-R-DONE lol |
