I just went back to work a few weeks and have a major itch for an new 1125CR. I have found one at ray price and Mcilhenry Il. Have you guys heard any? Contacted Bumpus on an R but I'm not willing to give 7500 for the bike. Thanks all... Rich |

I got my R at McHenry. Spent WAY less than $7500. Good folks to work with too. This was my first purchase form McHenry and I was very satisfied buying from them. |

I'm with Hog. I've bought 4 bikes from McHenry HD. I spent way less than $7500 for my 2009 R. Very good people to work with. |

You could try GR harley in Michigan. They were $7k+ttl back when a lot of dealers were $6500 OTD. I heard they had a large stock a month ago. Not many are buying bikes in MI, so it couldn't hurt to suffer through the old school used car sales crap if you can save a few $$ Kirb |

Mchenry has 109 cr's. It is not a typo I emailed the sales mgr. Are they really "new"? When I was talking to them a couple weeks back about XB's, they had large qty's of "factory owned vehicles" (e.g. used with varying amounts of miles - and prices adjusted accordingly) - but few unused, previously untitled bikes. |

I wonder where they came from. They're not showing up on "find-a-bike". |

I don't know for sure, but I think McHenry is bringing them in from other dealers. Or maybe its just that they are so close to East Troy that there isn't much freight involved so they can save a little cash. |

the find a bike is a bit behind Yeah, I was just wondering if it really was an increase to the available population or a balloon squeeze. I'd find it hard to believe there was still that big of a pile of them sitting at the factory until now. |

Here's one, but you can't have it. I think if buell had taken some better pics, without the mirrors, they might have sold better.

Yesterday the folks at McHenry told me that they were bringing in bikes originally built and shipped to Europe. |

hmm wonder how that works since i thought they had different VIN#'s |

Yeah, the VIN should be different - I'd expect it would have something other than a "D" (domestic) in the "4th position" of the VIN. That said, I have no idea what about the bike would actually be different for a "domestic" vs "England" vs "Europe" versions of the bike. |

Actually the first 3 digits (1st position) of the VIN would be different too - signifying "5MZ = Buell vehicles originally manufactured for sale outside the United States". Anybody know what makes 'em different? Any emissions differences/reasons to think they violate any domestic requirements? |

I called McHenry today. Spoke to both their admin (Barbara) and Chris the Sales Manager. Hdwrenchtx is right on the numbers so with the crate and setup fees the new 09s net to $6800 OTD. I offered $5500 and then $6000 cash but Chris wasn't willing to bite...being in CT it's a bit difficult to haggle over the phone. Barbara did say they have a bunch, said they got them straight from Buell...didn't know anything about Europe but that doesn't mean they didn't come from there as Timtowtdi mentioned. Chris said they have a bunch of "demos" that run the gamut from having 50 miles up to 5,000 (I wouldn't call something with 5,000 a demo although perhaps it is still sold as new...) that are $5500-6500 OTD depending on mileage...good times...decision, decisions. |

Hmmm... "find a bike" went up a bunch today, the quantity of 1125cr's went from 156 a few days ago to 218 today. There's 74 of 'em in Illinois, most at McHenry/Woodstock... |
