Skratch, I'm not terribly concerned about Snell 2010 either, small changes in testing procedure. Not sure how that has affected design but otherwise, the cheap Shoeis meet Snell 2005. I must not have been clear about the glasses. Glasses off, helmet on, glasses on. Glasses off, helmet off, glasses on. Of course you shouldnt be able to slide a helmet over glasses on your face, unless its a flip up and even then I take mine off first. I simply could not fit glasses between my temple and the pads on the Icon though. |

I went with the RF-1100 on my last purchase. I had an RF-1000 previously and loved it as well. |

Freight, Nope, you were clear on the glasses issue. I was more making a general comment on it. |

I have an RF-1000 right now, and I just ordered an HJC FS-15 Carbon for $257 from New Enough...I'll post a comparison when it gets to me. |

Please do. I'm going to make another trek out to try on helmets. I'm leaning toward the RF-1100, but the price on the HJC and Joe Rocket are really good. One of the closeout graphic versions of the FS-15 is running $130 at Comp. Accessories. |

What about the new Arai RX-Q coming out next month? Supposed to be very quiet but still vent well at price that is a little under $500 still expensive but a lower price than typical Arai. Waiting to see how they fit me other wise its a Shoei RF 1100 hands down. It fits me even better than the RF 1000 |
