Received my 1125 EcoSlider Stage 1 Kit from DarkHorseMoto yesterday, and got it installed this morning. The kit includes front and rear EcoSliders, and the new rear stand lift spools. Fit and finish are superb, and I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the "eco" sliders.

I have the signature series race ready sliders on my XB, and the Delrin easily matches the finish quality and sturdiness of the aluminum. I have no doubt they will serve me well should I have the unfortunate opportunity to test them.

Install was a breeze, and the provided instructions were extremely thorough.

My only criticism is that the clearance between my rear stand the left side of my swingarm is minimal. This could be due to a number of factors, including but not limited to, my T-Rex rear stand and manufacturing tolerances of the spool boss on the swingarm.

Right side clearance

Left side clearance

I did have to apply a little caveman logic to my rear stand to accommodate the width of the swingarm and lift spools, and for the life of me I can't figure out why the "hooks" on the stand are so tall in the front. I think I am going to trim them down a little, a la Pit Bull.

Overall, I am very happy with Keith's newest product, and I highly recommend it!

Got mine installed the other night, too. Excellent products at very reasonable prices, as always from DHM.

Nice product.

Glad I got this kit and the correct Pitbull stand.

No clearance issues.

Thanks guys. I'm glad that you are pleased with your purchases.

Buell's lack of symmetry combined with the trade off between clearance with the swing arm and wheel stand and keeping the spool compact made the design challenging. Nick did a great job!

I tested the EcoSliders for Keith so I can attest to the difficulty all of the odd angles present when trying to get everything to fit.

That said, I am tremendously happy with the sliders and wouldn't ride without them at this point. They look like they belong there and give me some peace of mind.

Since I am so happy with the sliders, I need to get off my ass and order the spools or I am going to be kicking myself when it is time to take the rear off.

Now can someone make a cover for the cases that is only $34.95? I can't see paying over $100 per side for something designed to hit the ground.

Yes, but the $300 protectors don't guarantee the case covers won't get damaged. No one has crashed with them installed or I haven't see the post.

A s r,

Your pictures confirmed my suspicions. When I was working with Keith on this, my right side clearance looked like your left. The OE bosses just aren't symmetric. In fact, mine appeared to be weld repaired prior to being painted at the factory...
