Black, I'm feeling the same way. But we gotta chill and give him all the room he needs to operate. You gotta know we're going to be a lot better off for it. |

Pegasusraceteam, the group that purchased the first two 1190's from EBR,have some interesting mods done to their 1125R race bike: Check out the XBRR-style ram air! Note the front caliper cooler as well.

Does that guy look like he's about 6'8" or is the bike smaller? |

I was wondering the same thing...he makes the bike look like a pocket bike. |

I find the stock exhaust interesting. You would think that would be a mod to be done before the intake. |

Well, it looks like that's an 09 since it has spool mounts and still has the belt drive, a revision c clutch cover and the O2 sensors are located a little more downstream than the 08's were. I could be wrong though, there's just a smidgen of blue at the bottom of the frame pivot point, so I don't know for sure. Another thing, why is the guy wearing KTM leathers? |

They did put a lot into modifying the bike to just leave the stock exhaust. Very surprising. |

Maybe the rules they race under require stock exhaust? If they can afford to buy 2 1190RR's don't you think they could afford a race pipe if it were allowed? |

Possible could have modified the stocker also. Never know unless you go to the source... |

Palmer, That's not an 1190RR, that's the bike they ran last year. I have seen other pictures of it. It does have a belt drive, and stock muffler so it must be some sort of close-to-stock class. |

All that full race gear on the bike and it still has that heavy exhaust? |

There is no "full race gear" on that bike. The only changes it looks like they made were bodywork, a radial brake master, and a race front rotor. If they were competitive like that, then why spend more money on it? |

...some quick answers - the guy is tall - check it on our team-pictures http://www.pegasusraceteam.com/assets/images/db_im ages/db_Team_42.jpg It's Harald Kitsch - the guy on the left side. He rode last year also on KTM in the SoT - therefore the orange on his leather. Rules in ProThunder prevent to much extra-power - so we focused in our 2009-development on the chassis - there are a lot of small modifications. As we have been aware about the development of Erik's team with the race-bikes in 2009 we did not invest in any further engine-modifications - and preferred to order the bikes at EBR in early December 2009 If you have any questions, feel free to contact us via our team-hp This year we will participate in all three classes ProBears / ProThunder and Sound of Thunder - hunting down some Ducatis/BMW/MotoMorini/Aprillia/Triumph a.s.o. The Bears in ProBears is an akronym: BritishEuropeanAmericanRacebikeS |

Yeah its funny Harald got on that day the 2009 Sound of Thunder Champion on an KTM RC 8 and there was no time to change the leathers. 2010 he is now competing on the E.B.R 1190 RR-B in the Sound of Thunder. The story behind that bike on the pic is simple. The Pro Thunder is weight/power regulated and we used the stock muffler as powerlimiter (catalyst...) and extraweight. The bodywork will be for the 2010 season complete, including radiatorcovers and bellypan(we dont use on that day a bellypan because of the heat)and many other new developed parts. We are very busy at moment to prepare all for the first tests of the bikes in Cartagena begin of March. In addition to the E.B.R 1190 RR-B we prepare also the XB´s and the 1125R´s Just put some pics from 1190 RR details on the Team website, think you are interested in that. Thanks you all for your support Jens www.pegasusraceteam.com GO BUELL RACING! |

They are just fuel injectors. There are 2 injectors per cylinder on the 1190, one port and one showerhead. |
