Bood, An A S B spec engine on 91 octane? Maybe he thought you were joking. Trying to insult someone with girl comments seems to indicate you don't like girls. Do you go the other way? Personally I like girls and know some who out-ride many "fellas" like you. G |

The A S B engine can be tuned to run just fine on 91 Octane fuel. Before the spec fuel in the AMA, MR9 and MR11 were common fuels for the superbikes and those are only 87 and 90MON respectively. |

If guys like boodlum go away crying, that's okay. I doubt that any real Buell folk will be affected. Think about it, if it takes another week for the site to come up, will that ruin your race season? Not mine. |

Only took 3 days for my response... My question: Erik, How much is your race exhaust? Is it the same exhaust as the Buell Racing Exhaust? and Do you need a race license to purchase it? Also when will the online catalog and pictures and pricing of the euro spec 1190? Thanks A lot, Jake Response: Dear Mr. Holladay, The race exhaust that we have right now is exactly the one used on the championship winning AMA DSB bikes last year. It works very well with stock engines, as we ran completely stock engines in that class. The complete system sells for $1700 , however they are in short supply at the moment. More are being made, but it will be a while before they are done. You will need to purchase a race ECU to go with this pipe, but if you do not change anything else in the engine or airbox (other than a K&N filter or the like) we can ship it to you with the right map in it. The ECU is $250 by itself; the software and interface cable costs $500 more, but you would not need that with just the pipe. Also this is a very high end complex software package that needs to be used by someone with lots of EFI experience. We are aware that many riders who do not have race licenses want these exhausts for trackdays and race schools. Therefore we are not going to require a license for someone to purchase these. However, these systems are not street legal and neither is the calibration in the race ECU, so neither should be used on the street. We are behind schedule regarding finalizing component prices, and the information on the race motorcycles will not be posted until we have this information and can post the prices. Best regards, Customer Support Erik Buell Racing Btw yes you are reading it right, you do NOT need a race license for the race exhaust anymore and its 100$ less ...im savin my pennies lol Cheers, Jake |

The thought of a pre-programmed race ECU makes me hard. I wonder if they will have an FMF Slippy map... |

No surprise he hasn't responded to you. ________________________________________ You really put Buell in a bad light when you speak with hate as a acting representative for the company. Any business you ran would have no customers due to your take it or leave it bad service is ok acceptance. The way you blindly paint over things looks worse than the simple problems in the first place. |

Oh Please... I believe everyone has the right to refuse to deal with arrogant pricks if they so choose. I also don't think anyone was purporting to act as a representative of EBR, they were just stating an opinion. It would be nice to think that any business can choose not to deal with difficult customers, that's always been my philosophy - I've thrown my fair share of customers out of my office in the past... Just because you provide a service it doesn't mean people can treat you like dirt. |

Hey ducdood (who doesn't even own a Buell but loves to come here to bash), why does someone who posts a comment on here diagreeing with you automatically become an "acting representative" of the company? Is Fresnobuell employed by Erik Buell Racing? I don't think they have a west coast branch. BTW, I do think boodle or whatever his name is now is probably not going to be good for EBR. I hope someone does send info on to them, because I am sure this guy will be a customer from hell. |

We expect some parts will start going on-line with pricing this week, and more will be added on a daily basis as we verify availability and cost. There are hundreds of parts, however stock is out on many of them, and we have to wait to either make them or get them from suppliers. Although the final word will be when these items are on-line, I can tell you that we will have the first of several 1125R fairings soon, but the first ones will be race only, with no provisions for headlights. Customer Support Erik Buell Racing I had no issues hearing from erik??? |

Just received two detailed responses from EBR. Thank you. Very informative and provide a solid plan for what is possible The motor will need to go to East Troy after the season gets under way and shop resources are more available. Would have bought the new engine if the responses were more timely. Oh, well... Bood |

Where do I get those yellow throttle body plugs? They would make an awesome practical joke at the next track day when someone leaves their bike to take a leak |
