I picked up my 1125r in Nov. and after reading some of the threads on here about low coolant levels I decided to pull off the right shroud and check it right. It was a little low and I'll be hitting up my dealer for some to top it up. One thing I found while removing the shroud is how hard it is to remove the bottom rear torx bolt. I have torx screw drivers and torx sockets but there is a coolant hose in the way. I finally removed it using the wrong tool the wrong way. How have you dealt with this? Maybe I made it harder than it really is. |

Use the tool in the tool pouch under the seat. It's a short L shaped tool that works perfectly for the job. |

I didn't really notice anything in the way on any of those six torx bolts. I'll 2nd what D_adams said above - The one in the tool kit is just what you need! Mike |

Who would have thought there would be something useful in a stock tool kit. Thanks gentlemen. |
