Guys my dealer just called and said my seat came in! This was after they canceled the order after Harley said they were not making any more... So if you ordered one, check with your dealer. |

Loren - I saw one of your seats on "Greg's" bike, he's a pilot from Denver with a white 1125R. Looked nice, when mine needs a new cover, I'll be contacting you. Zack |

That's a great looking seat... are there color options (I wouldn't want the white stitching on mine)? |

That is a purdy seat, but please keep questions to PM or look at his website. He isn't a sponsor here, so this thread is getting dangerously close to getting yanked. I might have to send him my Uly seat if I ever get that thing running again. |

Can any product be discussed on this forum without the vendor having to drop some cash? Just curious.... |

Yep, as long as you aren't making it and advertising it here. |

since the Buell custom seats are apparently hard to find now (including from sponsors) will that make it ok to talk about other vendors that provide a service to Buell owners? We can't go through advertisers if the parts just aren't there! |

Please read my last post again. Lets use seats as an example. Corbin makes a seat, So does Baldwin. Corbin isn't coming here and potentially volatilizing the rules by advertising his products here. Gowindward posted pictures of a seat he offers for sale, but no further information. Now I sit here debating to myself if they should be pulled or not. Gowindward isn't new here and is a respected member of the community, so I am going to cut him the slack this once. He simply can't discuss his product on here without breaking the rules, so thats why I asked you and the others to take your questions and concerns to Private Messages. Simple as that. To further my example, I can name half a dozen other Badwebbers off the top of my head that make a product or two for our bikes. They know the rules, they don't advertise them here, but if someone comes in saying "Hey I need to add a light bar, where can I get a good one?", that person would be told to send Person X a PM to acquire it. Hi everyone I'm super new here but I've been reading these threads for atleast 2 months now. I'm picking up a red 1125R in feb and I want to put a red suede seat on it. Maybe trimmed in black so the side profile is still the same. A custom seat cover might be an easy thing to fabricate, but if I gotta get the whole thing remade it might not be worth it. Any ideas anyone? And i went with the guard_rail name for the obvious reason...i lost the use of my last bike when I went over one but the rail probly kept the bike form falling over me. So I honer that guard rail by taking the name as reminder of the last ride that never was. |

Ithink the suede would look cool but it might provide too much grip and make it hard to move arround on the bike. |

I've seen a mv agusta with a red suede main seat blue suede passenger seat. I was some kind of USA tribute bike and it was very nice. The only red white and blue bike I would ride. |

My Guzzi came with a kind of faux-suede seat covering, and yeah, it's like you're glued to it. Looks nice, though. -Kurt |

Photos of the seat above looks really nice. I may be interested in a few months, but not sure I'd want to part with so much cash for a seat recover at the moment. |

I had ordered a factory comfort seat for my "CR" (I don't know the part number but it's the one for the Firebolt/1125 with the orange/red Peg. logo) the dealer got word that it was obsolete and refunded my money...I got lucky and got the last one off the shelf at another location.. Then the seat came in...I really like this dealership and wish to help them sell the seat I ordered SO - if anybody desires a new factory Buell "comfort" seat please call Mike in parts at Donahue HD in Sauke Rapids, MN 800-477-6980...please tell them "Weatherhead" sent you. Merry New Year! |

I got lucky, and got my front riders seat from AL at American Sport Bike. I got my rear passenger touring seat from Liberty. Someone had ordered it, and after it came in, cancelled the order. I was on a list, and they called me, so I snagged it immediately!
Both are big time comfortable. The old lady loves it, she still misses the beavertail on the oogly though... |

You did get lucky--I was told "obsolete". Yeah, I am looking for a way to make a passenger seat with the backrest, as my wifey demands one! |

Sorry seat has been sold... Obviously this board has some wheels, I talked to Mike a couple minutes ago and he said he could have sold 10 seats! |
