hey guys, i have a serious issue... my friction zone on my bike has been moving in closer and i went to go start the bike this morning and it wouldnt start because it wouldnt let me put it in neutral at all... its like i have no clutch at all... its really starting to piss me off because its all i have for transportation right now... please help guys! |

check your clutch fluid and check for fluid leaks |

After you check level and for leaks, I have learned that with a hyd clutch system you can sometimes bleed it down by pulling back the lever and tieing it to the bar. Leave it there overnight and it usually makes a big difference. I'll do that with my 1125 or ST1300 if they sit for a few days and it always helps. |

the fluids are fine... ima tie it up like you suggested and see if that helps any! and one other thing... my belt seems to have some type of wear line toward the inside portion on the top part of it, would the best thing to do is take it to HD and let a tech look over it?! |

There is no clutch cable since it is hydraulic. There have been some warranty issues with the clutch slave cylinder seals leaking/ seeping. I would take it to the dealer. You can find neutral without using the clutch by rocking the bike back and forth as you shift all the way down to first and then lift up easily into neutral. |
