Bike - '09 1125R product - xenonrider 35w 5000k low beam kit issue - right side will not come back on after they shut off for starter, well it will eventually after about 5-10 tries which is hard on my ballasts not to mention my bike anyone else had this issue? It did this once after I washed my bike Tuesday night and I rode about 250 miles Wednesday and didn't have any problems - today it has been a consistent problem This was a plug-n-play kit so I did not run dedicated power. Should I run dedicated power to relays and just use the factory wires as triggers or do you think I can get away with running a jumper between the two factory wires and hope that it's enough juice to kick it back on or is it something totally different? | ||

Return it for a refund if possible. It should come back on with no issues. Some of the cheaper analog ballast kits would do this. | ||

if you can easily run power (even just to test) then i'd try it. If that doesn't fix it, i might try the reverse polarity trick. But since your other one works ok... and this one has worked intermittently - i think you probably need a new ballast. And on my 25R i have the DDM 55w kits on my lows without direct power - no issues except reverse polarity. HTH - GL! | ||

I've had that same kit on for 25,000 miles, no issues. Give them a call and they will make it right. Btw the DDM seem to be hard to beat from their price and warranty. I going to try a set or two. Btw, make sure your terminations are good with the female connector on the bike. Neil S. | ||

I posted a simple delay circuit here a while back... it'll wait 90 seconds after the ignition is turned on before kicking on the relay for the HID. That gives you plenty of time to get the bike running so you don't blink the HID's every time you start the bike. For a warm start (bike stops and restarts within a minute or so) the delay is shorter, maybe 45 seconds. | ||

That would only be a band-aid and not resolve his issue. What if he stalls and needs to restart? He would be at risk of the bulb not firing up again. I never really even considered putting a delay on mine, it takes a good minute to put in the PIN. | ||

I just got home from my trip and I'm resting but check this out: if I have the high beams on when I turn on/start the bike they both fire up every time - WTF?! | ||
