Free Spirits 1125CR Air Scoop and Windscreen Kit has anyone bought these yet? i like the look but the price is crazy. if i figured it right they are almost $1000.00 they cant be worth that kind of money. is there anything else out there? thanks shawn | ||

Yes they were revised to resolve the cooling issue, now they don't look great. | ||

there are the eskalation-scoops. eskalation.de but i don't know anything about how good they're cooling. i just bought the free-spirits, but i'm still waiting for them. will be february until they're installed and ready for testing. | ||

can do! next week, i should get the parts and we will put them on first to make them fit and then they get some color on... i will post some pics of the parts as they're delivered and a few details about the quality... | ||

Does anyone know how much the OE scoops weigh? I saw these ones claiming to be 15-20 lbs lighter and make your bike run around 20 degrees cooler. http://www.flexi-glass.com/buell.cfm | ||

15-20 lbs?!?! i can't see that much of a savings in plastics vs fiberglass... maybe in the whole bike, but not just in farings | ||

One set up was for race only. The other was for the street or track. The race only would overheat if used on the street since it removed the fans (maybe that's where they save the #'s). The other set up just plain overheated. |
