I just bought one from Liberty Harley Davidson. I had placed an order with American Sport Bike but they are having trouble locating any. I'd like to give them props, though. I cancelled my order after finding out they were on backorder. But, after thinking about it, I told them to reinstate the order in the hopes that they would locate some. However, last night, Liberty responded saying they had one. So, once again, American Sport Bike cancelled the order. They were very professional and quickly followed my requests. So, props to American Sport Bike! | ||

Latus cancelled my order. Said they could not fullfill it. That may have changed, but don't get your hopes up when you see "Available" on their website. I think I'm going to go with a Baldwin seat instead. | ||

Part number is 52319-02Y. Google it for a number of choices. Take the number to a Buell dealer. HD computer can find it anywhere if it's available. I have one. Yes, they are a good choice. | ||

Google led me to several dealers that said they had it when in fact, they did not. Someone here posted 6 dealers that supposedly had the seat last week. 4 of those did not have it by the time they were contacted. Good luck. Like I said, I'm going to try another type of seat. I'm tired of entering my CC number into sites and then getting the "Your Order Cannot Be Fullfilled" email 3 -5 days later. | ||

Yeap i think these seats are are sold out... I made 7 calls yesterday to dealerships and they either had none or i just missed buying the only one they had. couple dealers knew the part number before i finished giving it to them...they have been getting a ton of calls Oh well.. i'll just wait or get something else. | ||

this blows, Tried all 7 dealers in the nation that "had one" on the dealer network. None of them did. Have a feeling they are all gone and I am SOL. Look like I am going to need to find a stocker and make my own. F*** HD | ||

Why are they "greedy" dealers? Welcome to capitalism. Supply and demand. A select seat was worth $150 when the supply was unlimited. Now their is a finite supply. They are worth whatever someone is willing to pay. I would watch Ebay. I would bet you will see quite a few popping up. ac | ||

There are custom options out there that only run $190, so paying more than that is absurd. Baldwin saddles are just one option. | ||

I thought about that Chris, but most of the seats we have made are harder then the stocker. May have to find one i can cut up and mess with this winter. | ||

Bart, The touring pillion is a move in the right direction. It levels off the pillion a bit which will help with her not sliding forward as much. I even made a backrest support for one on my Firebolt. Oh the things we do for the women in our lives. You could say that was in my early stages of custom saddle work. | ||

Guys their out... the production has been terminated... so unless some warehouse finds a batch or a dealers finds a lost one, i think we are screwed. | ||

"i think we are screwed." Your not screwed you just have to take another route. The factory custom is better than stock, but it's not all that! You get a lot more seat for the money with a true custom saddle. I started gutting a "factory custom" seat yesterday to make some drastic improvements (Message edited by gowindward on November 25, 2009) |
