Has anyone else tried setting the system clock to display the time in 24-hour format (military time) instead of the 12-hour format? The other day I tried making this configuration change, so that 3 p.m. would be displayed on the clock as 15:00 instead of 3:00. I followed the directions in the 2009 1125R Owner's Manual to set the clock to 24-hour time. Everything seemed to work fine (all of the menu selections came up just as the manual said they would), but when I was done the clock stayed in 12-hour time. I've tried the procedure for switching the time to 24-hour format on 5 different occasions. My clock is stuck in 12-hour mode and won't switch over. Has anyone else tried using the 24-hour feature? It would be interesting to know if anyone else has tried it and what their results have been. Thanks. |

What are you doing on this board? Are you 1125-curious? I set my 09 up as 24hr time no issues. I need to do my 08. Hell the clock isn't even set right on it yet. |

I run mine on the 24:Hr format ... Old USAF habit dies hard after 10 years! Mine's never had an issue. And you're absolutely sure you've set it for 3 PM prior to trying to make it display 15:00? Mike |

Just to clarify -- I didn't set the clock to display 3 pm ... the dealer set my clock a week ago when I picked up the bike, and its been keeping good time. When I started my ride it was about 1:20 and when I got home I went inside to get the book to reconfigure the clock. The time happened to be 3:00 pm and I tried resetting it to say 15:00. Everything seemed to work fine as I ran through the configuration menus. I even got the notification to press either Mode or Toggle (can't remember which) to save and exit. But when I did that, the clock kept reporting time in the 12 hour format. I've tried it a bunch of times, and it just won't go into 24 hour mode. I was wondering if this was a programming bug that effected everyone, or whether the problem is uniquely mine. It sounds like 24 hour mode works for other people. Does anyone else have trouble getting the clock on a 2009 bike to go into 24 hour mode? (Message edited by duchunter on November 22, 2009) |

I have an 08 and ran military time on the OEM IC just fine. Got the IC replaced last year with an 09 IC and 24 hr time is good on it too. Z |
