Low side. Less than 1mph. My garage is in the back of my house. I was bringing it from the front to the back. Flip flops and shorts got me. Now I know why I always wear my gear. I was turning right and my son came up next to me. I put my right foot down and it slipped. I held the bike as it went down. No scratches. Only thing damaged is my ego. This is my 4th bike and I've never done that before. |

I dropped my Husqvarna in my drive way while it was warming up. I stepped away for a minute to grab my helmet inside, I thought she just cut out, but nope, she fell over. |

I haven't crashed in, lessee... 28 years, but there's a list of 125 way to drop a bike - I think I counted 33 of them I'd done plus five that weren't on the list. I particularly liked the "jump on the kick starter, have it rebound and go INSIDE your pants leg, and fall over" one. KeS |

I almost went down on the bolt for a similar reason on the way to work last yar. Came up to a light and my dress pants caught on the peg while trying to put my foot down. Scary feeling lol. |

Similar story here. I have a steeply inclined gravel drive and when it gets dry here traction disappears. Back brake can lock up the wheel and then the bike just picks up speed. Rather than run straight into a pile of rocks I laid it over...very aggravating since the bike was almost new at the time. Luckily the parts are not expensive to replace. |

Here is one for you. I dumped mine backing out of a parking stall. Oily work boot + Fuel puddle from bike + tar strip = broken foot peg and shattered pride... I sacrificed my leg for the greater good. only trashed the left peg. Been riding bikes for 29 years. Street bikes for 18 years. That was a first for me. Anyone selling their 1125 stock pegs? PM me. I came out to find someone had laid mine down for me this morning. I am pretty sure someone backed into it. Pushed it over the kickstand. Bent handle bars, snapped mirror off, and rear signal. Also scratched up the end of the swingarm on the sidewalk. |

Had that happen years ago with my very first bike. They pushed it out of the parking space into a fence and bushes. Ever since, I park on the street edge of the parking space. They see it before they start into the space. No problem since. (Message edited by Iamarchangel on November 16, 2009) |

And I thought I was the only one to ever in the history of the planet get the kickstarter up the pants leg and fall over... Here is another...boot lace in shifter...foot won't reach ground...fall over. |

My worst: At a sportbike event during Daytona Bikeweek 1996, I parked my bike in a parking lot full of sportbikes. After dismounting, noticed my buddy didn't have a good place to park. I got back on, raised the sidestand and moved forward a bike length and then went to get back off. It was past the point of no return by the time I figured out I didn't put the sidestand back down. Only a 100 people or so saw this. |

Gave an ex-gf's daughter a ride to the restaurant. She used the rt passenger peg as a springboard while I was taking my helmet off. Bike went down. note the "ex". |

Last week while giving my RED R it's first oil change and bath in my carport...the phone rings and I turn my back. The polished concrete can't have more than a 1% grade, but that was enough for the bike on the PitBull to roll. I swear it bounced on the right side. Snapped the brake lever tip off and there is a 1/4 inch scuff on the puck...other than that it is perfect! I couldn't believe it!? |

Zac I really appreciate the offer. I got a little impatient and ordered a new peg on Sunday. I should be good by Thursday. Jim |

I was pushing a friends hardtail up into the garage on sunny day and the gravel was so thick and loose my feet slid and the bike came down on me.... Ever tried to lift an ironhead chopper with apehangers up off a gravel driveway without up the custom paint? Needless to say I lay under that bike for an hour and a half ..I had my cell and was calling him...he was inside sleeping. The look on his face was almost as funny as me under the bike. |
