Great link - I had no idea! But wouldn't you say it's safe to say that folks that just arrived after buying their first Buell probably know as much about all this as Court  Sorry, couldn't resist. I'll be adding that book to my Christmas wish list! Mike | ||

I'm not so sure about the looong answer, Joe. You see, Court is now. He lives "the now" and considers the future "now". The past "now" is not so interesting since the future "now" is what counts. So asking him to tell you about himself is to ask him to recount past "nows" and that gets confusing to him since his compass needle point forward. That's why the "remind me to tell you" reference. Herein ends the Dr. Phil lesson (or was that a Zen thing). | ||

Can't blame Court for those words, I wrote them myself. Hey I broke something on the first Buell I attempted to work on. Then Erik let me handle the spray paint can and that paint ran I stuck to writing the press releases and taking pictures. Court was building power lines while I was breaking stuff. Then Erik hired me and he had to bring Court around to keep me away from the bikes Still after all these years he adn I are overwhelming enthuisiastic about Buells and continue to plead ignorance about what is going on inside the company. we just make stuff up | ||

What could be better, good friends, Buells, great stories and that fancy coffee. Buell is dead. I think not! | ||

Why wasn't i notified of this? GotLime: your gonna love the book, it's a great read no matter how many times i open it! And yes Court is an •••••••! I personally witnessed him help a college kid who bought an xb9sx in a private sale with a (unknown) cracked swingarm get a factory replacement.....what a jerk! | ||

I was just trying to get some background on Buell. Gotlime, that is not what you asked. There are many people here that have a vast knowledge of Buell and can answer just about everything you would want to know. Some of those people have posted to this thread with what you call "drama" like Dave Gess, Ratbuell, Doerman, No rice and others. I think you walked into a trap and will have to take the ribbing with a grain of salt. There is no way that you could know who Court is but probably noticed that he is always available to help Buellers out. Take a look at his Court in Session thread and other areas. Like the 1125 guys are fond of saying "search is your friend". The book is a great read and I think you will really enjoy it. The only problem is it is not long enough. There is a crap load of information about Buell crammed into that book thanks to Court and Mr. Gess. Hopefully you will be able to make it to Homecoming next year and met Court in person. It will be well worth it and I bet you will have a great time. He is a hard man to keep up with but he will talk to anyone that will listen. See you at Homecoming. | ||

That was a typo MR Skinner. I menat to type Court where I typed Buell. I was just looking for some info on Court. I've been around the block. I can take the ribbing. I look forward to it. Where can I get more info on this homecoming? PS I'm glad the search is working again. I've been using it so much, I thought I was the one who broke it!! | ||
