I own a Lightning and I have a friend that just wrote me this...

I purchased a 2009 1125CR. I went for my first ride today. I had a great time. I have a question. Is the clutch lever suppose to be very stiff? My wrist and forearm were killing me today. My friend told me I just need to strengthen my left hand.

Any help would be appreciated.

If it has factory clubmans on it, it could just be bar position.

It shouldn't be stiff - mine is actually very light - but the engagement point is way the heck out at the end of travel. You actually barely need to move it a half inch or so to disengage, no need to pull it way back to the bar.
