Anyone that has gotten the new Flash M3PUS152 for CR M3HUS142 for R Please post here. I'm hoping this is not a 49 state thing and California gets hosed for flashes. |

Don't matter...they are still way lean for best power. Mike (Message edited by 1_mike on November 12, 2009) |

That CA (Euro) comment would make the third 'gotcha' thing I've learned about the ECM flashes this week. - The R and CR versions are different. - The 08R and 09R flashes are different. - CA on either isn't like the 49-state. I had my 09R (49-state) updated to M3HUS142 this past Monday. It's a keeper!! Mike |

I just had mine done this morning at San Diego Harley-Davidson. 2009 1125CR, calibration M3PCA152. So apparently there is a 152 flash available specific to CA. KeS (Message edited by kevin_stevens on November 12, 2009) |

Okay that explains it thanks Kevin. I am willing to bet the other 49 states get the better flash. Damn EPA here in Cali sucks. |

So Kevin, how's the new flash feel? I'm California also. |

Better, particularly steady cruise 3.5-4.5K. Not perfect. Had the bike shutdown on decelleration once yesterday. Other than that, haven't had much seat time; had to take the Speed Triple to work today. I'll know more after this weekend, but definitely an improvement. KeS |

Hey Kevin, The bike shutting down on decell could possibly be a mismachined stator causing the crank position sensor to misread. I just had mine fixed last month. I have the new California 1125R flash and I am loving it. |

I got my bike in the shop over here at Quaid in Temecula for defective Stator as well. Had to have it towed update soon when I get back my bike. 3 decel shutdowns in 4100 miles. So hopefully after Stator is fixed and reflash done. I can ride the piss out of it again. Just bought it in August.09 Dec. 08 build date. Hopeflly Quiad does a good job. There is another rider near me that has 09 cr Had two stator failures once at 3,000 and then 5,000. Now has got 17,000 miles. So I am hoping this is just a one time thing for my bike. (Message edited by freezerburn840 on November 14, 2009) (Message edited by freezerburn840 on November 14, 2009) |

Got my bike back and I felt the difference in the new flash right away. Engine is flawless compared to the old firmware I had on there. It seems to have more grunt and explosion in the whole powerband from 3500 rpm all the way up. I definately am enjoying my bike now. 152 flash for the 09 CR is a keeper.
