passed the 620 mile mark and and now my bike is requesting service on the LCD when i turn her on... why dosent she automatically know I installed a new filter and placed Mobile 1 20W-50 is in her cases? how do i clear and reset "needs service" to 1000 miles? thanks, todd |

I think you press the toggle button and mode button at the same time. Then toggle until you see reset service. Then it should put the next increment which is 6200 miles. Lets just hope you dont have to replace the cluster ever if you do it will put the service counter out of sorts because the new cluster wont account for the present miles from the last service done. At least mine doesnt so I have to go back the old fashioned way of writing when i did service and how many miles. |
