Can you believe this. Four months ago I bought the greatest bike I could ever imagine and then some. I have enjoyed every mile I put on the back tire, and even the ones on the front. Of all the things that could go wrong on a bike putting out over 120 hp at the rear wheel and torque to spare a light bulb went out, yeah that's right, the tail light burned out. I actually had someone pull up next to me at a stop light and tell me about it. To top it all off Buell even included the screw driver needed to replace the bulb!!! |

Replace it and go on. Not every manufacture is perfect. Do you love the bike? If you do replace and ride safe |

File a report with the NTSHA.... thats a serious safety problem... While your at it, sue Buell for its poor choice of parts and the bulb manufacturer for poor quality product.... THEN go after the dealership for not being able to forsee this problem and not changing the bulb before you got it...... LASTLY... change the bulb yourself and get to riding |

So are you going to file a warranty claim on this? |

I can relate, had a lo beam burn out, I wasted 30 seconds searching eBay for H8 bulbs, had to wait three days for them to come in, and then had to put in two minutes getting the durned fairing off. If anything else goes wrong, I'm going to trade for an XR1200 I think. |

I saw your thread Froggy, I mean come on, they only sold like twenty some thousand bikes in the past two years. Two tail lights is really showing a trend. |
