Is there a common Japanese sport bike that uses the same peg at the 1125? I know a lot of *them* can use the Ulysses peg, it's a common mod for lowering the feet. I'm looking for replacements for my 1125CR pegs, without any lowering, and the choices out there aren't exactly what I'm looking for. American Sport Bikes has some that are close, but not exactly it either. If I could just look up, say, 2006-7 GSX-R1000 pegs to find ones that worked it would be easier. Search on "+Japanese +pegs" didn't turn up anything... Tx! KeS |

Parts Unlimited carries some pegs that are adjustable. I can get you part numbers when I get back to work Tuesday. I think they are made by a company called Pirate customs not 100% sure on that. If you think this will help I can get a pic from my bike. |

Ok, but not absolutely necessary if it's trouble. I was just thinking if we knew an assured match it opens up the whole world of Japanese pegs. A quick Google of "Pirate Customs pegs" comes up with lots of interesting stuff about peg legs, but nothing particularly relevant. KeS |

Sure! I was in Stanford University hospital for knee surgery, and a little old lady in the adjoining semi- wouldn't quit asking until I signed her cast for her. KeS |

Super. Have you been able to put your crack problems behind you as well? |

PM Jersey_thunder (JT). They ran some aftermarket pegs on their race bike this past year that were adjustable & reasonable in price if I recall correctly. |

What exactly is your goal? |

Apparently not, since I bought a Buell. KeS |

What exactly is your goal? My goal is to be able to select from the broad variety of aftermarket pegs available for common Japanese bikes, without being constrained to the relatively small selection available that are identified as a fit for "Buell 1125". I strongly suspect from the reverse compatibility of the Ulysses pegs I mentioned, that there are one or more common models for which aftermarket pegs are interchangeable. I thought someone on this board might know of such cross-compatibility, and not finding a relevant entry on search, posted a new thread. A ton of people put buell pegs on their bikes. I had lighting pegs on my SV. I did have to modify them to fit though. File them down and drill out the bolt hole. |

So the Lightning peg holes are smaller than the SV. Scratch that one. Tx! KeS |

I would make a start by checking out which Japanese bikes people have fitted Uly pegs to - take a trip to you local Japanese motorcycle dealer and start looking and measuring ! |

I put pegs from Cycle Pirates on my track bike and I've been pretty pleased. http://cyclepirates.com/main/select_by_bike?bike_i d=79&class=year_form&productline_id=15 |
