Ok, I'm a bit mad. It was 68 degree's here in Ohio, and I was having a great ride. Then it stuck!!! Again. The engine light came on. Bike starts running rough. I pull to the side of the road check the gas, Its full, but I knew it was. This is the 3rd time I've been through this Crap. I push the bike a good half mile before it will start in continue to run. I get it home and pull up the codes. Here it goes P0628 Fuel Pmp Sys Err, P0087 Fuel PR Sys ERR and P0193 Fuel PR SYS ERR. What gives? Also the AT was 101 F and the CT was 180. It was only 65 degrees outside. Any clues? |

I can't help you with the fuel codes, but your incoming AT shows high especially when the fans kick on, because you are intaking the hot air from the radiator fans. As for the CT, that's normal operating temp after shutdown. |

Bad fuel pump. That's my guess anyway. (Message edited by indy_bueller on October 29, 2009) |

+2 on the pump. Those are classic systems for any electric pump. |

The dealer will take a look at it next week. That pretty much means I'm done riding for the year. It took them 2 weeks to get it back the last time. The it was a Fuel Sensor P0087. What has me pissed it I've had the bike at the dealer 3 times already with this same crap this year. How many times before I can claim its a lemon and get another one? Under the circumstances I would take a Harley Street Glide and leave happy right about now, |

I got the bike turned into the Dealer yesterday. As usual it ran great the whole ride there. I will be calling Harley Customer Service first thing Monday. I'm angry and I want them to take it back. This is the 3rd time and I'm sure they will have the bike for a few weeks. That equals 3 times to repair it and will equal over 30 days without the bike. There is another one there now that has similar problems that the owner won't pick up because he's gotten tired of dealing with the issues. |
