Yeeeech! I'm a tall fellow. 6'4. The 1125R is my first superbike. Needless to say, I found it more than a bit cramped at first. I bought a set of XB-S lower pegs, did a bit of filing, snapped them on the bike, and adjusted my brake and shift levers. Then I eagerly went for a ride. I hated it! By taking your weight off your legs and feet, it throws the whole rest of the ergonomics out of whack. I had more weight on my wrists and ability to grip the bike with my legs or move around. I kept sliding forward into the tank. I can see how these might work on a CR with high bars or an R with some other bar riser kit, but for me, they just don't work with the stock R bar placement and cockpit layout. At all. Strangely, the bike even felt slower with the less aggressive pegs. I can't really say why. I couldn't switch back to the stock pegs quick enough. |

Sell the pegs? gonna put high bars, and I am 6 ft. How did the pedals feel with your feet out? Do they need to be out farther? |

I suppose it depends on what you want the bike for. I have a KLR, so if I want big and upright, I'll ride that. I have no desire to make my 1125R feel like a fast KLR. But for others that do, it might make a fairly nice touring bike. How did the pedals feel with your feet out? Do they need to be out farther? Not really sure what you mean. Do you mean the added width because of the drop? Yes, they need to be out farther, because, well, the pegs start farther out. It's vaguely unsettling at first, but if I liked the pegs, I'm sure it would be easy to get used to.} |

I put xb pegs on my CR and love them. I have the clubman bars and I'm 5'11". The stock pegs make my legs cramp up. |
