With what's happened, I'd buy, cash, an 09 R, maybe a CR, if I could get one for under $7K (excluding taxes). I'm calling around and finding dealers offering a price minus the rebate and that's it, and then adding $700 plus in fees, so they're like $7700 plus taxes. I thought I'd easily find one for $6900 considering the rebate etc. Am I crazy? Are they? I'm in MD and looking here and within about 200 mis for one. Thnx. |

I think a lot of dealers lowered their prices too much, sold the bikes too fast and now realize they can make some money on the remaining bikes. Good luck!! |

You're not crazy. Take a look at the list of all the people who have purchased since the announcement. A lot of phone calls and rushing into dealers to buy a bike has likely caused some dealers to tighten up and not go so low on their remaining bikes. Supply and demand. |

Highland HD in Somerset, PA had some '08 R's last week for $5k Buell Store in Baltimore had '09's for $6k, don't know if either has and left. I do know that Balti called me back when some canceled their deals. I was on a waiting list there, but already got my deal ($6.5K OTD) from Horsepower HD in Williamsport, PA. |

No, hold out. There is more supply coming from the factory. Invoice is $10,300. If they sell them for more than $5500 + TTL, they are breaking near even. |

Yea HD of Baltimore is where I got my X1W back in the day, they had great deals but out. Others I'm getting a "$5K rebate, what more do you want" sort of reaction. A couple dealers told me they have more coming, but prices i was given were around $7700 plus TTL, or $6995 + a ton of fees. I did find an 08 R for $5K, hard to say no to that, but wanted to see if I could get an 09 considering the updates I've read about here between the years. |

Clarkjw: Where'd you get that info? It'd be great to post in it's own thread on the front page if you can cite a reliable source. |

One of my local dealers told me yesterday that his cost was 10300. he would sell for 6000 plus tax for an 09 r. He would be making 700. He also told me that he would be able to place an order today for a shipment to come soon. Have the dealer I got my 09 CR from looking into getting me a 2010 1125R. Mike Long Island, NY 09 XB12X Red/Black 09 1125CR Black (soon) |

I was told by my dealer that Buell did not make any 2010 models. But there are some 09's left. |

If there's an 09 R or even CR in any color for $6K +TTL, I'd be there in a heartbeat cash in hand. This is a rediculous amount of bike for that $ ... please let me find one of these. |

Toona is my backup on invoice price. I'm not gonna call out who gave me that info. But it seems to be very accurate across multiple sources. |

just bought a racing red 09 1125r today from Shenandoah Harley Davidson Buell in Virginia for $6500 plus tax and tags, which in Virginia takes it to about $6700 and change for Uncle Sam. They have an 08 black and an 09 white one still in stock, plus a few CR models. Talk to Jim or Mitch, good guys to work with, or at least they treated me right. |

I certainly don't care much about invoice cost since I already bought my 09, BUT...my dealer said his invoice was $9k, hence why he sold it to me for $4500. In fact, another local dealer confirmed this invoice. Yet, these numbers don't jive with any I've heard on here. Like I said, doesn't matter for me right now, but what gives? |

Hmm, I called and talked to Mitch, told him you referred me from the forum, he gave me a price of $8000 for the R!! That makes them the highest of anyone of the 8 places I've called so far, yikes. |

Well I thought I had a local red one for $6900 + TTL, which I was OK with, looked at the bike last night, called at 10am to buy it, & was told someone bought it over the phone with a credit card. So, now I'm working on an 08R for $5200. Can't find an 09R or CR anywhere, let alone for >$7K +TTL. |

Toledo Harley Davidson claims they are getting in 2010's 1125R's salesman told me $7495 OTD. He claims they will be there in a few weeks. I already bought my 09 at $5667 OTD in Chicago so didn't jump. If someone wants the status of saying they have the 2010 by all means heres your chance. |

New shipment came in at Downtown Harley in Seattle yesterday. At least 1 black 09CR and some R's. They're less than 7k, they will ship. |

I think the knee jerk fire sales are over for the most part--but I am sure they are out there. |

They made 2010 1125s, but the vast majority were overseas bikes. So I wouldn't expect very many. |

Thanks for all the help everyone, I'm now the proud owner of ....... an 08R all updates with 7 miles on odo, $5200. I love it, frickin rain is still here so only went down the block & back during a dry moment, and it felt great. I'm so stoked to be back on a Buell! I decided not to risk ordering, and with the extra $2K saved I'm budgeted for some mods. Thanks again guys. |

Cool, you will like it. I've been on inline jab bikes for 8yrs becuase I would not have a buell that had the sporty engine, just me I know ton's of you guys like them but I had an 2000 problem bike and would never consider one again untill they switched motors now my ZX 14 just sits there becuase the buell is so much fun to ride. |

ThaTs funny, I did the same thing, been on liter bikes since '87, got an X1W back in 99 and thought it was nice but .... With the 1125 Buell hit the nail on the head for me. I was looking to pick one up in the spring, so I just had to jump a lil sooner, can't wait for my first ride. |
