Froggy, do you know of the 1125R side fairings are available in red? or do they only come in black to be painted red? |

Only in midnight black. Makes me wonder why they don't offer certain body parts in certain colors. They already have the mold for the pod covers, they already have the hero blue dye, why not make hero blue pods??? |

I think the reason they dont offer the panels in other colors is because Buell is dead |

Oh, and HD doesn't do online parts books, see your dealer and have them look stuff up for you or order your own. The site owner here will also get mad at you if you suggest something that involves copyright infringement also |

Buell didn't offer the colors before they were dead either, despite my pleas. |

Are the stock parts on a red bike red plastic or are they painted over black? |

All Buell plastics are molded in colors. Nothing on our bikes is painted. |

edit: The following is an example of what happens when I reply without reading carefully enough. Yes, I was a dolt. ----------------- That's what I thought. I call BS then on Harley's claim that they will be supplying parts. The original parts on my bike are red plastic. If one of them scrapes, it's still red, not black. Supplying a black part that has to be painted is not the same as supplying a replacement part. (Message edited by fmaxwell on October 26, 2009) |

Huh? Yes if you damage your red plastics, its red all the way through. Nothing is painted on the 1125, so the black plastic is black all the way through. Replacements are available and probably will be available without issue. You can still get long discontinued colors like Battle Blue without issue, as long as you are willing to wait the typical 1 month lead time. |

Okay, I completely misunderstood. I thought that the question was about the availability of pod covers in some color other than black. I see that it was actually about the fairings for the 1125R. Sorry. |
