Is yours not under warranty? I thought the first ones out were Nov or Dec of 2007. |

HOW CAN YOU TELL WHAT COVER YOU HAVE? My 09 cr is a 10/08 build, what cover would I have? I'm not having any problems yet but just curious if this is a problem I may have. |

I have a salvage bike, so not it is not under warranty. and you can look at the build date on your bike. mine was MAR. 08. and if i can get a new piston kit and not the clutch cover. i could get a used one maybe. and just plug the hole. anybody work at a dealer maybe they have a rev a lying around you could hook a brotha up. i got to experience this bike on the track. the bad thing is i low sided. and totaled the clutch cover. so i want to fix it. i dont want to think about option b right now. I have a RevA cover in my garage. I changed to a RevB after a 20mph low-side ground it down a bit. It works, holds the fluid back, won't hold a puck tho. 10 bucks to cover shipping and a trip to town and it's yours. PM me for a pic and details. Z |

Was this a Recall/Safety Campaign or a product campaign? Just bought mine and it still has the Rev A cover but doesn't show signs of weeping. |

Does anyone still have bikes with the REV A cover with no problems with a decent amount of miles? My warranty is up end of this month and I looked up the parts pretty pricy. (and prob get more expensive since HD axed BUELL) =( Mine has around 3400 with no problem yet but don't want to end up with the problem later and cost come out my pocket. was thinking about just tryn to have it done. |

I ran 6000 or so miles before the first weep. They changed the internal and I went another 4000 before the next weep. I am now waiting on the rev b or c cover fix. Lucky for me winter has set in so it's no down time. |

This is what im going to do. i am going to make a new puck. then im going to take a set screw and tap and fill the hole in the REV A cover. all you have to do is be sure to do like a bi-weekly drain and you will have no physical evidence of a leak and people wont think its a harley by nature. lol just one more bash on H-D. easy fix. |
