Just a FYI, that flysceen plug happens to have the same connector as the Ulysses power outlet, so if you happen to be tearing your front end apart a few hours for leaving for Buelltoberfest, and need to figure out how to wire in your GPS, and you happen to have a wrecked Uly in your garage with all the wiring spliced onto that power outlet, well then you are in luck |

Old news, Frogman. What kind of GPS are you running? |

I ordered the pins and made a connector for mine. I am using it to power a Powerlet outlet for my GPS and in the near future, some heated grips. |

I use a magnitized needle stuck in a cork, floating in my gas tank. Always points North for me... |

I just have a hard time keeping the match lit a speed so I can see down into the tank. How did you solve that issue? ;+} |

That would work, NOT!!!! I've been running a GPS for over 150,000 miles and they beat the heck out of the cork and map technology (even with the torch);+} |

Yeah, but I bet they aren't nearly as exciting! I've been on the GPS game for a few years now myself and won't go back. It's just too easy, especially when you can plan a custom route ahead of time. |

Frog - I stopped in VA on my way down to MBV... where are you exactly? I have the 550 and love it, though I just wired it up straight into the accessory plug. How's the CR for comfort for you? |

VA is a big ass state, it takes forever to cross it. I am in Roanoak right now.
Don't tell my Uly, it has been replaced as my favorite and most comfortable tourer. |

Nice - I stopped in Charlottesville on my way down, but you start a bit further south than me. I had a second floor room, though - no way to bring the bike in. Good to hear the CR is as comfortable for you as it is for me. You still going put the clubmans on it? Ride safe. |
