Hi all, I'm new. I've just bought a 1125R and it's effin' great. Already thinking of tinkering though. Anyone fitted one of these? BU-1108 K&N Air Filter BUELL 1125R 08-09 Are they easy to do? Do they make a difference? Are there any 'How To' guides anywhere? With pictures? Regards, Monty. |

It works well. Install only requires a T30 torx bit and the removal of 6 screws: 2 for the seat and 4 for the airbox cover. 2 rubber bands hold the filter in place. You will hear more intake roar but not a lot. |

If you have the factory exhaust you will hear a bit more of the "whoosh" associated with the throttle bodies opening up. Throttle tip in will be a little quicker and the engine will be able to breathe better. Another plus side of any reusable performance filter is that they are VERY easy to clean and maintain. I recommend these filters to everyone even if it's for fuel efficiency and longevity sake. |
