finally they admitted that the old version simply doesen't worked. The two guys I know who tested them got really upset. Temperature went really too high. function over form, as usual! I think these are not cool looking like the old ones. Better the original dumbo-style pods! Anyway the exhaust is really good looking, seems to bel loud as hell. No other info available on it at the moment. |

Hmm, all that time and $'s Buell spent on CFD was worth a little something. Go figure! |

WTF? Did they just slap a peice of tire inner tube in the opening and paint their logo on it? Those look like total and complete ass. |

I still don't see the issue with the pods. Why don't people like them? They seem to work better than most side radiator set ups work (Honda uses split rads on the RC51, VFR, and Goldwing) and I think it's genius that the fans come on and blow FORWARD when you stop. Beautiful! I've not experienced any overheating issues with my CR or any rider comfort issues. Anything that works well, is beautiful to me. |

Does look like an experiment still. They might just want to make their own stylish skins for the stock pods because that concoction screams defeat. It would appear they couldn't top the performance of the pods. |

"are those equal length headers?who makes them & how much.will by a set right now" They are part of the Free Spirits exhaust system which is pictured. It's hard telling how much, I spent quite some time talking to them trying to get that answered along with taking a look at the exhaust since they are local and I could just pop right over, but they didn't seem to interested in making a sale. Their engineer was helpful, but when he directed me to make an appointment at their front office, they just blew it off. In their defense, they do typically sell to distributors rather than directly but the engineer told me it was a rare bike and wanted to make a sale if he could. |

About the exhaust system, they're still working to optimize performance, noise and so on. Speaking with them this system will be sell, I don't know when, I hope not so far. I add another picture in order to evaluate headers compensator

they will probably throw in a production piece which will be in CF, definitely not plastic as they're right now, or at least the same color of the pods. it can anyway be painted, so if it works, no big deal, we can make it prettier. it'd be nice also to have it in just one piece, this additional piece sounds like a remedy. we'll see, I keep thinking that the future of the radiators on this bike will be the new ones seen on the 1125RR, slimmer and positioned frontally... as for the pipe, it's a blast, definitely the best looking and performing (I hope so) along with the new FMF complete system... |

Edoardo, don't hold your breath waiting for the street version to get RR radiators. The first time an RR would sit in stop-n-go it would melt-down. I really like the way the exhaust is ducted out the back with a minimum of speed. Hold your hand under the tail while you're riding... it's HOT back there. Oh yeah, FS' fix looks like ASS, I'll keep my Harrier Scoops. Z |
