Can someone point me toward a color and location of an injector wire? Have an afr meter that has an inductive rpm module,and I dont want to be 'guessing' about location of a wire. | ||

Injectors get power from the ignition relay, the ECM gives a ground to fire them. The connectors are nos. 84Front and 85Rear. They are located on the front and rear intake flange repectively. They are 2-pin Sumitomo connectors. Front injector is grey and white/yellow. Rear injector is grey and green/grey. If you are going to play this deep into the bike, you need to buy the suite of manuals like I did. It will save you a lot of time. They are pricey, but a real bargain. The whole suite of 3 pay for themselves in less than 3 hours of use. Zack | ||

thank you , kind sir. Yuppers, the books are on my shortlist of "must buy" items... edit: I should have been more clear in my request- I just need to "clamp around" one of the wires for RPM, nothing hardwired or invasive. I would never go into connectors or splicing ANYTHING without manuals. (Message edited by bott on August 25, 2009) |
