Mach3,then the rev limiter started to kick in. Some riders have actually breached the time/space continuum, by wearing a much more aerodynamic beanie helmet and flip flops wrapped in aluminum foil. |

My GPS indicated 333 mph once, I was REALLY impressed......... until I noticed it was due to a signal glitch LOL. I did have one knowledgeable Sheriff Deputy ask me about my 1125 and my GPS one day. I showed him the 333mph max speed and we both had a laugh! I have seen 150 mph (for real on the GPS) as a max speed on the GPS. I was too busy watching the road to look at anything else! |

I've had my '09r up to 150 indicated a couple times, doesn't take very long but the back of my riding jacket was vibrating so bad I had to let up both times. Got kinda blurry up there with that happenin', need leather me thinks. |

Ken can ride hands-off in order to operate the Polaroid camera. Takes skill at his level in order to get the camera back down behind the windscreen in order to prevent the wind from tearing off the as-yet-undeveloped image. Returning to the pits, he then scans the Polaroid photograph so it can be posted on badweb. |

I have a GPS log from the back straight at Mid Ohio on one of the pre-production 1125R's that shows something like 168 MPH. The GPS had a good signal, and the points when plotted are right where the track is supposed to be... so no doubt it isn't perfect, but it wasn't that far off either. The bike had more, I chickened out... |

Factory speedo is within 1-3mph of GPS, depending on tire OD. |

On my 08 the speedo said 166 and my buddy was in the other lane on a 1000rr and his speedo said 170. My 1125r is really smooth to 140 but after that it gets a little rough. |

The 161 was on the front straight at Road America.. I did hit 165 at Mid-Ohio in the draft of a GSXR1000....The above 161 was by myself, no draft. |

I got my speedo up to 150ish, I only glanced down for a split second. I was actually trying to see if the speed hump on my leathers would really help with the high speed wind buffeting. It did help a lot. When I came back in my GPS read 155 as max speed. |
