I have an '08 R, made in July. I scraped up my clutch cover pretty good and want to replace it. Which cover should I buy, A or B? Thanks, Doug |

The new piston/ sleeve kit that is supposed to fix the clutch weep fits the rev b cover, so I'd go that way. |

So I can just order a new one and know I'll get the latest version no matter what? That makes it easy. Thanks. |

you dug, i ripped mine past the o ring groove in a r/h slide at Barber and built it back up with jb weld. you can thicken the goop with unscented baby powder. glued the slider in and raced the weekend. redid the repair after finding out that you can only order rev b and taylormade doesn't make the slider for that cover. bought the taylormade covers and GSD pucks, installed and haven't slid since. if you want to go that route i can send you a better product than jb weld to use. tim |

tim, mine is not leaking at this moment. But the bottom half of where the puck seats is warn down, and the puck sits with the top side tipped out. No leaks though. I'm just trying to take care of the problem before it starts leaking. When I do get a new cover I will get a puck from Pete. I've already lost track of who makes those covers. I'll look for it later. |

I slid Loretta out our parking lot last Fall. RevA puck is a little plastic thing - useless. Also the weep-hole is in the cover itself. RevB cover has no hole, it's in the puck. The puck is half-again bigger and billet aluminum. My seals weep, so I turned the puck so the hole is on top. Presto! No dribbles. Race well Stop in when you come up to HPR Zack |

Mine just started leaking again. This makes it the 4th time now. Rev A cover replaced, Rev B cover 2x and it's leaking again. Almost didn't make it home last nite, luckily the wife delivered me some dot4 brake fluid to get me the rest of the way there. |

Contact your dealer for the new sleeve and piston kit, as this is supposed to be "the fix." |
