And this is a surprise how?? The XB's are running now for what 8 years or so with no real change other then colors and and ECM versions. I personally think the lowers makes the bike look hideous. I like the naked engine look. |

This is very frustrating. I'm looking for a reason to spend money in America, a little help would be nice. The dog's don't like the food why serve it for the third year in a row? |

The dog's don't like the food why serve it for the third year in a row? Blanket statements like that make you sound really....stupid. YOU don't like it, many others do. Thought you were gong back to a Ducati board or something? Now that you are thoroughly disappointed with the 2010 Buells, there is nothing to keep you here, correct? |

Correct, I'm not waiting another year. Yes It's my opinion not fact that Buell sells very few bikes due to issues with the product not the marketing. Buell did nothing to sell more bikes by product improvement, they spent their money on a new marketing campaign to say F' you, well keep he 2008's in the basement of our dealers you don't get it by the way here is the 2010 SAME BIKE. Not a fact, just an opinion Buell will be gone in two years, The air cooled bikes are still very cool bikes, but I need dealer support and the in your face marketing tells me nothing is changing here. asta, I tried |

I would venture a guess that they did not include a belly pan for a very good reason. Possibly someone could help us out with this one. (Court) As soon as we can get our hands on the factory side fairings, we will see if we can adopt a belly pan. Also, if anyone is trying to fabricate bracketry to mount GSD fairing and belly pan, I will send you some really good photos of the way I did it... Teach |

Wow, I checked in to see the 2010 Buells hoping things had evolved and one could be my 6th Buell purchase. I don't think so. No improvements? I would buy a Firebolt or Ulyses again but the way they are running the company makes me think they will not be around to service it in the future. I'm a bit shocked at the new advertising, my first Buell was a Blast, so I guess I was an idiot for giving them money for that POS end table. I was hoping the product would get improved each year and now were on year three?????? Why all the effort only on marketing to to tell me I don't get it. I got it 5 times before they did not mind taking my money. Rotax deserves better. |

so I guess I was an idiot for giving them money for that POS end table. I don't think buying a Blast has anything to do with it. BTW, listen to Erik's reasoning to why the Blast is being discontinued and you might sing a different tune. As far as your comments on the 1125r, you burnt your Badweb bridges LONG ago. PM Ducdood--you two seem eerily similar. I am sure you will get along famously...elsewhere. |

Okay, there are 47 other threads on this site where you can discuss the marketing campaign and the demise of the Blast. Let's shift this one to be 2010 1125R and 1125CR specific...What do ya say? Anyone notice the spec differences on the 2010 1125 models? Here's what I caught so far: - 43mm forks instead of 47mm - Rear turn signals are now bulb instead of LED - Tail/brake light is now LED instead of bulb What else is anyone noticing as different besides color/graphics? |

It's a typo on the forks. If you go to the info in the "Book of Buell" it lists them as 47mm. I did download the "book", the new attitude marketing is quite entertaining. |

Ibppjr, thanks for the clarification. I thought that an odd move since there was so much information in 2008 about how the 43mm was not rigid enough to match the frame. |

I think i'll be buying a Ducati streetfighter or super duke over the CR. I can't get over the CR muffler and lack of a chin spoiler looks goofy. I'd rather spend more for the ducati or duke than buy something I don't love. |

Do ya think the 1125 will be next years easy chair, ottoman, hutch? Looks to me like the $$$ from the mother ship may have dried up. Heck, not even enough $$$ to make the move to the new facility using 2 men and a truck. |

Buell is doing exactly what they need to be doing. They are focusing the brand and eliminating the obfuscating parts... even people working at Harley dealerships think of all Buells as "beginner bikes" because of the Blast's prominence in the line up. They are making it clear that everything they do is the result of sound scientific principles, not just being different for the sake of it. And they're not out to make friends... love it! |

On a serious note, thanks for listening BMC. It's almost worth upgrading to an oh-ten for the sight glass...J/K...it will make life easier for the new owners tho!} |

What else is anyone noticing as different besides color/graphics? 43mm forks instead of 47mm. There was some recent discussion regarding the 1125RR that the 43mm units are "big piston forks" which are supposed to be the latest & greatest thing. |

I think if Buell provided BPF on the 2010s, it would be big headline news..especially keeping the price the same. |
