Holy Crap! The 1125RR kept the pace with the friggin Liter Bikes! Knapp wasn't even mentioned, but did I read it right that he held his position the whole time, and was in the mix holding his own?!? For me, that was Huge! What say y'all? R |

Amen. And down 20 mph, so that really says something for Buell handling and Taylor! Can't wait for next year! |

It was a good day for Buell racing in AMA Superbike. Taylor Knapp on 1125RR started 12th, finished 12th. Shawn Higbee on 1125R started 19th, finished 18th. Both riders holding their own. Good job, guys! GO BUELL RACING!!! |

Sweet! but the bitching about the DMG continues though. I think it is awesome that Buell has finally cracked the top ten in Superbike. this is huge. Way to go Knapp! There is nothing wrong with allowing other manufacturers compete. Maybe next year will have BMW, KTM and MV Agusta, and maybe someday even Moto-Guzi. Why cant they see that having more bikes being competitive will cause other bike makers to want to come and race also. It's a good thing. |

Taylor was listed as 10th on the Suzuki on Superbikeplanet -- trust them not to get it right. He was most definitely riding the Buell 1125 in Superbike on Sunday. His best lap was a 1:26.7, which we were pleased with, as well as his top 10 finish. There's definitely a lot more work to do, but this was the start. |

saw race 1 on speed. Not one shot, not one mention of the Buell even being out there. Must be that with all the surrounding controversy, they were afraid to even mention it? LoL had to re-watch sections of the race in slo-mo just to see the bike. Jumped offa the couch every time I HEARD it tho! GO BUELL !! GO Taylor Knapp!! |

Yep, watched the 2nd American Sport Bike race tonight. They mentioned Knapp and the 1125RR during the race, and then pointed out his decent 10th place finish at the end. |

RoadRacing World had it right. Buell both days. Why would he switch back and forth. Can't believe Supersquid planet. |

The AMA site has it listed correctly...1125RR both days. Looks like Knapp was about a second faster on the RR than Higbee on the R, but still about a second or two off the fastest lap times: http://www.amaproracing.com/rr/events/results.cfm? eid=2009010945 |
