Nothing makes people hate motorcyclists more than excess noise.

Loud pipes suck.}

Would love a 'slip-in' baffle for my D&D with a quick clip of some sort. Gonna do some research,and I will post up results.The way the d&d is designed,its very open and should be easy to 'pop in-pop out' some sort of DB killer. I live in a bike friendly neighborhood, but one mile away from the World Famous LEO's of the Nassau, NY village. (Wyatt Earp syndrome)

I have a drummer on my lightning. I did buy and adjustable baffle from drummer. Haven't put it in yet, but you might want to ask Kevin Drum if he makes similar for your bike..

One last thing to remember here guys is that a baffle needs a certain amount of straight pipe to be able to insert it. Also longer baffles usually work better(quieter) but also require a longer amount of straight pipe. All the washer deal needs is any outlet size, even square and maybe 1/2 inch of pipe to secure it. Kind of precludes using a baffle on any muffler with a turnout. Not for something permanent though. KISS principal. Bob

The Drummer on my 'bolt got nothin but compliments, and the people it offended must've been too scerred to whine.
Still, I'd keep the R's low in the morning out of respect.

I got my Drummer on yesterday and rode it today for the first time. It is WAY louder than the Drummer I had on my XB. I need to try earplugs next time I ride it.

Has anyone tested the Drummer for it's actual dB measurement? Is it louder than 106 at 2 ft?
