Done the deal with the throttle, full open to full closed X 3k, and have gotten from original reading of 90, up to 96. Anything I'm not doing right? Looking for 100% |

Galen: You may find that throttle cable slack, interference etc. may keep you from seeing a higher percentage. IIRC mine were in the 98% range. I don't recall anyone with 100% but, I've slept once/ 2x since the last time we discussed this item. Time2Ride Neil S. |

FWIW, mine goes to 100%, but I've got the cables adjusted spot on with no perceptible slack. R |

Mine always spans 2-100% when I check. I just went out and checked, in DM-Park and DM-Run. bars at full lock left 2-100 center 2-100 Full lock right 2-87% until I pulled 100% at center and turned full right, then 2-100. Z (Message edited by zac4mac on July 13, 2009) |

Like others have said, get the slack out of your throttle cables. If you've never adjusted them, they're too sloppy. For some reason Buell ships bikes with a lot of play in the throttle. |

Where does it tell you the percent? Is that a function on the ODIS? |

Yes. There is a TPS percent screen in diagnostic mode. You can work the throttle from open to closed and it shows the relative percent from 2-100. |

How do you get into diagnostic mode? |

With the key off, hold down both buttons on the IC. Turn the key on and let it cycle through the checks, release the buttons, and you will be in the diagnostic mode. |

Press Mode and Select and turn the key to PARK or RUN. In RUN, the headlights are on, in PARK they are off. Toggle thru the selections with the bottom button(mode?) Exit by pressing the upper button or by turning the key off. Z |
