I know this has been discussed before, but I can't find any of the threads. Does anyone have a good way of keeping the mirrors from folding back at speed? Before anyone suggests it, I don't want to replace them with bar ends or anything else. |

I pull mine in completely and then adjust the mirrors in their sockets. This works for me, but YMMV... |

They aren't supposed to move while riding, should be replace under warranty. As far as a self fix goes, I few drops of loctite should do the job. |

One guy put some kind of adhesive in the joint. I pulled mine and "peened" the rivet, the stalk stayed put well, but the mirrors were still useless. Loretta has long-stem Firebolt mirrors now. see profile pic - They work great. Z |

Loctite is a great, easy idea... I'm gonna try that to eliminate all the play in the stalks, thanks! |

Try a "wicking" grade of Loctite. It will penetrate into those nooks and crannies that are allowing the movement. Neil |
