I'm getting ready to leave the house and head up to Lakeshore HD to pickup my new 1125R. I guess it was a long time coming. I waited almost two years for it. Either way, the wife is letting me put about 2500 on the credit card and the rest I'm paying in cash. I haven't been this excited since, I dragged my knee for the first time at Autobahn Country Club. |

I'm already thinking about the instructions to de-noid the bike. I'll grab some zip ties on the way back home. Enough has already been said about that. Also, going to get the OSB flash utility and maps. I most definitely will be taking the long route home. The one that gets me there sometime around midnight. :-) |

Dude, you should ask the dealership about the special financing on the 1125 models right now. they have rates that are probably way lower than your credit card! |

I pay off my credit card at the end of the every month. I'm not going to carry the balance. At the price that they have it at, I'm going to pay cash and avoid financing like the plague. |

I picked up the bike today. It rained the majority of the day. I got to ride a little bite this evening, and I must say it was one of the most fulfilling moments of all of the years of riding. The part that I like most about it is its paid for and I don't have a note. I have to still pay the 2500 on the credit card, but I'll do that next week. I felt really good handing them a cashiers check for the balance. I was in and out of the dealership in about 45 minutes. It was difficult not riding above 6 grand. It was still fun. I just wiped her down and put her to bed nicely in the garage. Tomorrow morning I'll take pictures and post them. Proud to be and buy American. Thank you Erik Buell & the wonderful employees of BMC for giving me a memory that I will never forget. Troy |

Time to get some wet riding in Swamp! Have you named her yet? Diablo has seen rain, snow, a mix of rain and snow (srain as we charmingly call it in Wisconsin)and 100 degrees+, sans the burns on my thighs, variety builds character.

I rode about 200 miles over the past 2 days. I've rode so much I forgot to take pictures. I'm packing for my trip tomorrow. I make the big trek to San Diego. Got a new job there, managing the Software Engineering team for Cricket Communications. "Bertha" should show up in about a week. YES, I named her Bertha. Big Bertha Blue!!!! She's a wide hipped woman, that can drink you under the table, cook breakfast for you when you been out all night with the fella's and she carries 11 loaded 25-caliber pistols in her purse. She's not the prettiest woman, out there. There are plenty of pretty European twins, but "Bertha", is faithful, and so am I. |

Sweet, riding is good for the soul. Enjoy Cali, there's some awesome twisties out there, be sure to post pics so us Mid-westerner's can live vicariously. I think you'll find that "Bertha" is the woman of your dreams. She may mess with your head sometimes (see previous mechanical strings) but all in all, faithful to the end as a woman should be.

Great description of the 1125R, Swampdog225! Be sure to hook up with us SoCalBuellers after you have moved and settled in. The High Priest of our little, but not insignificant, local group of Buellers here is Al Lighton of American Sportbike. The Deacon is Ebear. We'd love to have you join us for rides and other events. |
