Every summer I attend a Boozefighters Chapter party. Typical biker events and food and drink. Just got to thinking- my 1125r sure feels like a potential slow race contender! With the hydra clutch, and tendency to raise rpm's with clutch disengagement, I am thinking about a trophy.Anyone have experience with your '25 in slow race? Always did FAIRLY well with my '00 Cyclone, but the '25 feels like the more suited machine for said event. Time to start practicing , party's in August. |

I won a slo race at an Easyrider's Rodeo 20 some-odd-years ago on my hot-rod Sportster. I can go pretty slow on Loretta, but not slow enough, methinks. Good luck to you and vertigo to your opponents! Z |

A well timed release of beer and deviled egg gas would make 'em either stop, or speed off I wont drink at events like this, but a good pre-game meal may help , LoL |

Pick up an old trials bike for those "rodeo" events. Might as well sweep all the trophies. |

Clearly, the lower gearing on a CR makes it the steed of choice... R |

all in the clutch hand, and balance. You're never really "in gear" if done right |

I love to see how slow I can go and the slowest I can creep on a level surface and stay steady is 3MPH. This makes it nice in the morning at the west gate on post. Everyone else is playing happy feet while I creep on along. I think you can do it. Get 'er done! |

Do they have a moto-scooter category? I could kick some serious butt! |
