thinking of having my D&D sandblasted up to the last weld, then painting high heat black. The discoloration mainly on the midpipe is making my new machine look old, and I'm not into polishing chrome. Any thoughts-pros/cons? |

Id say go for it if you have the time and coin. It can never hurt to drop your exhaust temp a bit, and I know from experience that the D&D can start looking really bad after a little bit....I bet that black would look real nice. |

chromed stainless. Midpipe turns purple yellow blue and brown |

Even hi-temp paint may have an issue with the mid-pipe because of the temp. You would probably need to have it ceramic coated. The can would work with the hi-heat paint. |
