I've seen one mounted saturday, on the Bike of ZioMeme. I think he is logged here on BWB. The look of the exhaust is really cool. Really good build, only some welds weren't "nice to see", but it's not a problem: you have to look with attention to notice them. Other really nice thing are the big logo on the right side and on the two dbkillers. The exhaus has two exits, and the uper one is bigger than the lower. Very nice! The model was the one without CAT, and let me say it has the best sound ever heard from one exhaust with ninserted DBK. Termignoni and jardine compared to the HPE are crap! Did not heard it without, but my friend told me it's loud as hell. Sorry no sound or photo, my phone celle went out of battery. I think me or ZioMeme will post them sooner or later. |

Had a look , interesting fairings on both black 11125 and the white one ive only seen the carbon ones from europe and they cost a small fortune and then the one on trojan, problem us Buells guys have in South africa there is just nothing aftermarket at all to look at and you have to surf the web to try and see a pic then track down dealer, my fairing for race bike came from Airtech in US but cost me a fortune to get to SA but was worth it and as to my knowlege only one in SA WITH ONE |

The fairing they used was off of a ZX6 or an R1 I can't remember which. |

Hey Fasthog...you stole my thread! LOL...I started a thread requesting the exact same, but didn't get the answer we are seeking...but any way, I ordered a HPE about 3 weeks ago...I just got an email from Tom Lynn the parts manager at Sierra Moto Supply saying its being shipped from Germany and should be in his warehouse within a few weeks...he said I should have the unit by end of July...I ordered the Race pipe...unfortunately I ordered my pipe blind...I hope to have a sound clip posted on Badweb once I install the pipe...I hope you can hold out until then. Let me know if you have any questions about this unit, I did alot of research on this pipe... |

Hi sunami Yep i know it was your thread that got me to sign up here but then could'nt find it again to see how far you had got, well as looking forward to you getting your pipe so i can have a listen. Quiet a bit of bucks but from what i hear its the one thats worth it. I have full Micron on my race bike and that is great and the Jap bikes fast in a straight line type hear me comming round their outside much to their displeasure when i can get it right and for them its like being passed by a John Deer tractor HAHA, Anyway its my intention to put 1125 on track also once she is run in and got all the after market mods ,traded my street bike XB12SS in on her cause done with riding on the road , will steal the wifes harley if i want to do that Well look forward to your sound clip of new pipe and some pics i hope Keep the black stuff on the ground and ride it like you stole it budy |

Exchanged communications with MotoSupply yesterday. He says they should have them in by end of Month (July??). Pretty spendy for non-catalytic version: About $1250. Cool, though, and lots lighter (and louder) than stock. Maybe gotta save those pennies... |

After looking at all the different pipes on market the HPE looks best to me, but needs a belly pan unless you into the naked look or not using on track. I paid about 1000$ for my full Micron to land in SA when they where still out there and was worth every cent sound great looks great and did make a difference to performance to my XB12R. So now to wait till some one gets an HPE on their 1125 so we can all hear it and what they think, but in mean time im saving my pennies anyway ,and maybe should send HPE mail and tell them they have about the only exhaust system for 1125 without a sound clip and such a big interest???? |

Some picture of HPE Exhaust. Last picture with only 1 db killer to see the difference. About the sound, is not easy to record it, every recorder go in saturation when I switch ON my Buell!!!!

he owns a crappy I-phone without video, that's why he can't record a video (jus jockin' Ema) BTW, next time I meet him I'll try to record a little video, but trust me the sound, even with inserted DBK is GREAT. |

Fasthog, he's got the street version in the pics above...The race version doesnt accommodate dbkillers on the bottom exhaust outlet...also, the race version does not have the HPE logo stamped on it, nor is it off color from rest of the pipe...Also, if Ziomeme is in Europe, he is more or less forced into the street version with cat as European laws are stricter (that's not to say someone couldn't get a race pipe in Europe and install it)...just saying based on what I see and know about the pipe...mine should be here within the next week or two... |

Johnny. yeh thought it look bit different to pics on HPE site, but still cool all the same, i will for sure get race version as it is my intention to race mine, but anyway we get away with quiet a bit In SA you hardly ever see a bike with stock pipe and normally always race version, The Law is more worried about Number plate size and the super bike boys have habit of not even havin one so if you have the right number plate you more or less get left alone regardless of how loud you are. But must say im more or less convinced about pipes and other mods i will do to bike but since joining this site ive seen quiet a few different fairing kits and versions and now not so sure the way to go on that one ???? as the pics always dont give you real good idea of it, nothing like seeing it in the flesh so to speak |

johnnysunami, here you see a HPE for street use with cat: and you can clearly see the cat, and i'm pretty sure the one of ziomeme is WITHOUT cat, i have seen it with mi eyes! You can even see that this version in the pic above doesn't have any logo on it. So, where's the point? I think that race and street version are quite similar: the only difference is the cat. But logo's and dbk are available on both. Here in italy every one buys race exhaust with dbk... |

Sorry if I'm in late. My HPE is NO CAT version, race version and is not foreseen to ride with this exhaust on normal street, so... I'm outlaw!!! Third picture shown pipe with and without db killer only to show how does it appear. I've spoken directly with HPE personnel in Maranello and they confirm me that ALL HPE exhaust will arrive with db killer, in not my request. Today my CR will go to second significant modification step, stay tuned... Salut, Meme |
