SWEET! So since we cannot order them online. I guess we go to the local auto parts store and give them the part number? Man, I can't believe they finally did it. I've had money set aside for this for months. Thanks for letting them use your bike, your contribution benefits us all. |

Hi all, just got mine today from K&N, Lisa Watson/R&D and pics. Its nice..and quality...i started up bike without inner/outer cover..and what a crisper sound and throttle feel. I do have the inner box off as before with Jardine exhaust and pro-tune 3 that was put on by Jardine/Mark Dobeck of Dobeck performance. It is even crisper..will be doing a nice ride..its hot here like 95-100 degree and sort of dry in so cal. I will let you know but I guess with the increased air flow i l should estimate close to 145-150 RWHP! We will dyno soon with Jardine/tuning. Stay tuned! My 1125rt is due for a filter change. Don't know where I've been riding but I've sure been sucking up some NASTY stuff! I replaced my original filter at the 12.4k service and it needed it. My K&N s/b in tomorrow. Time to R&R the filter and maybe check around to see if everything else is ok. Later Neil S. |

The KN filter arrived today. Put it in and it fits great (as soon as I figured out which way was up). A noticeable difference. I am on the fence on whether or not to remove the inner airbox lid or not. I like the way it sounds with it off, but I feel like the outer airbox lacks support without it. The KN works great though. The bike can breathe now!! A great purchase. Mike |

Uh. I would say there was some pent up demand for that K&N, wouldn't you say? I bet lots of people were hanging onto a dirty stocker just waiting for the K&N. I know i was. |

I probably missed this somewhere, but is this a "stock replacement" filter or a "performance filter". Also, have there been any dyno runs? (Before/after) Again, maybe it has been mentioned, but sometimes it is difficult for me keep up with all the different topics. Teach |

Hey Teach its a performance, high flow air filter designed to increase HP and acceleration like most of there air filters...as stated on the box! Lisa stated it would be better than stock as most are and I feel it with the Jardine exhaust and pro-tune 3 fuel card..adding more fuel in small increments as we speak. I will have a dyno run soon by Jardine when they get a chance. Rob Buell Specialist |

Rob, Can you keep track of how much fuel you are adding due to the K&N addition, if that's possible? Hopefully you have a baseline without the K&N. This thing is flowing ALOT of air now. When the bike fires up you can hear that sucking sound from inside the airbox... |
