finally took the Buell to PIR for its first trackday, my last bike was a TL1000R,i've had it since 2002 and put over 45,000 miles on and it never failed to put a smile on my face. The Buell proved to be an excellent bike on the track, very confidence inspiring, the bike is well planted and very trustworthy, I was able to lean enough to push the front end twice and never felt like i would lose it. Power wheelies and light front end during heavy excelleration the bike never felt like it needed a steering dampner. I'm headed to Oregon raceway park next weekend and am looking forward to riding a brand new track in the central Oregon desert

Nice! Great to see another 1125R owner here in the Portland area. Some local Buell guys will be at PIR on April 27th and May 11th maybe we will cross paths. |
