Anyone had this problem? Anyone know why this hole exists? Anyone know how to fix? On a training day at the track, pulled into pit lane and water was peeing out of this hole, temp had been around 95C (203 F) as I slowed into pitlane temp went to around 105C (221F).

Its the weep hole for the water pump. If the seals start to leak the coolant will come out there. |

Thanks Michael, I had a funny feeling that might be the case. Crikey they don't last long, only done 2000 race km (1242 miles) and its a hell of a leak. |

So any one know if this seal can be changed without removing entire housing? |

they did mine under warranty at 12000 miles. engine rotation required to pull the cover according to the Service Manual. didn't look too difficult in the manual. tim |
