Hi, I picked up a used 08 1125r over the weekend. Its got 1700 mi on it and the owner was unaware if any flash or recall work was done on it. It had the 1000 mi service done in sept. Seems to run fine after about 50 miles of riding over the weekend. I was going to set up a service ticket tomorrow to deal with the flash and recall issues if any. So...Im wondering if anyone has an opinion on what is the best Buell savvy dealer in the northern calif area. Thanks |

Tell you what! Shoot Terry Parsley or Fireman Jim a note at JT&S performance (they're a sponsor) - since they operate there at Sears Point, I'm betting they might know who to go TO and just as importantly, who to stay away FROM!!! |

I take mine to Livermore HD-Buell. They have taken very good care of my XB9SX and 1125R Faultline is also good....just always very busy with baggers, so very long turn-around times |

That was the 1125R prototype. It serves many functions, rider wind protection, and working with insurance companies it protects the bike in a crash. |

Thanks for all the suggestions! I ended up going to GGate HD Buell in Novato. They did all the recall stuff and replaced the dead rear turn signal module while I waited. (the trans jet was done already but the flash was factory and this was apparently the first 1125r sold in calif). Really cool tech. He had a lot of good tips regarding checking oil, battery drain issues etc. Runs even better! |
