Is anyone else having trouble getting the new Buell T-shirts? I tried to order them at my local dealer and they were told by BMC they had to order at least 24 or they wouldn't be able to get any. Is there anyway to order the new stuff from another dealer online? My dealer says they don't sell enough Buell gear to make it worth their time. Thanks in advance for any help. | ||

Central Texas HD has a metric butt load of them. I'm sure they'd be happy to wrap one up and send it to you. | ||

It is a chicken and egg kinda thing. Dealers see slow sales because they don't stock anything, but they won't stock anything because they think it will sell slow. Liberty HD (sponsor) has an excellent selection, check them out online. | ||

well we at my shop stocked most of the styles the last run around and now they arent happy because we have plenty left. of course i bought one of almost everyone and sometimes 2(gf needs some you know, plus she needs the womens styles) the guys that usually come in and visit me have purchased some and i have even shipped a few out. still after all that i have to many left for their taste(mine to for that matter). the problem as i understand it from our motorclothes manager is that she has to order x amount total and x amount of each size in that style. id love to get the new stuff. just not sure how well its going to go over with them. its hard to get someone to order more new stuff in all the time when they dont ever get all the last order sold | ||

This is my only problem with my local dealer, apparel. Which isn't to bad...considering I do it for the motorcycle not the clothing line. Yes, I would consider ordering my Buell gear through another dealership. Issue with that is I don't get to verify fit before ordering. I have tried on jackets from Icon, Ducati, etc. They all seem to fit different. Same with gloves, boots, and the what-nots. And before I buy a $500 jacket or a $60 shirt...its gonna fit. So hopefully I can find another dealership to pop into and view their selection. |
