Jerseyguy, I believe I am on the "list", but don't know where on the list. How soon will y'all be shipping, and can you give me (us)some idea of what shipping will run? I'm in. Rob |

8hp? Now that reads realistic. Thanks to whomever figured that one out as I missed it completely. $1000.00 +/- shipped? Seems reasonable enough. Can't argue the time and material costs...American Made and Limited Production usually means a little more coin than import/mass production but that is why we purchased this bike to begin with, right?! Step up ($) or shut up! Now, what about the pre/post AFV's on the stock 08 11 test example? Any info? Please? If nothing pre...what are they right now, after 600+ miles? Surely...they aren't still @ 100/100-105/105 @ sea level? Thanks and keep the info coming! |

I know that the Drummer is designed to be used with the stock mapping, but I can't help but think what the potential would be if it did have more fuel and low restriction filter.... oh believe me i'll find out somehow. when we put the SS on my 9 at the dyno shoot out, it spent the next 8 1/2-9 hours getting flogged(tuned) on the dyno to pull out almost everything we could get. most worth while 2 changes i have ever made to my bike. i hope to have similar things done to my 1125 |

Best of luck to all getting the Drummers!! I know everyone has been excited about this. Like I mentioned in my previous post, I am going to stick with my stock exhaust. But, we are trying to develop a Performance Tuning Package for the 1125R and currently it is focused on bikes with stock mufflers. My bike is the test mule for this. But, in the future.... Again best of wishes to all Drumee's and to Kevin!! Jim |

i dont blame you at all for working with a stock pipe. not everyone wants to, or can afford add a pipe to their bike. |

My pre AFVs were 100 Front 105 Rear. I will stick the bike on DT tommorow and hopefully get some new ones. |

I'm wondering why the cost for this is so much higher than the Drummer SS for the XBs? To go from ~$675 shipped to ~$1,000 shipped is an unexpected increase for me. I will need to do some more saving to be able to cough up that kind of coin. |

well, i am going to wager a guess at why the higher cost. material costs. i dont really keep up on the cost of stainless and such, but i do know that i have heard all metal costs were or are up a fair bit. i also know that kevin has been sucking up the increase on the cost to produce the SS drummers and trying very hard not to increase the retail price. that being said. me being the kind of guy that always loves a deal i still do understand the other side since i sell parts all day long. the cheaper i sell it to someone the smaller my paycheck is. there are days i have sold 3000 dollars worth of whatever, and the guy worked such a discount deal that i dont even bring home 20 bucks after spending half my day on it because there was no profit really. it tends to piss a person off kevin is doing this for a living. if you cant turn a profit you cant keep the doors open. |

Alright...I must admit. A few things are putting me off here. I'm gonna lay them on jot them down right here. One. It is a solid welded interconnect, unlike the jardine where it is 3 pieces. This is fine if you like it solid, but as expressed before on some of the earlier 08s there was an issue of a gap in between the exhaust. Some folks could not mount certain exhaust systems do to this minor change in fitment of the exhaust pipes. I hope someone recalls this issue. Two. Is this the final appearance of the exhaust? (based on this image: http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/290 431/416871.jpg) If so, it isn't terrible. There are already quite some ugly exhaust out there for this bike...I won't point fingers but I'm sure folks have an idea. Really, the rough design is good, but it looks like it needs some fit and finish. Possibly a nicer end cap. I mean really, this could also just be the picture. I know that pictures are not always the best to show off a product. Third. This $1000 price tag is a bit scarey. I am still waiting to see/hear a video of it before I make a call. But 1k, without knowing if it'll fit up and how it sounds or what the final look is...I am just worried on my budget. On the flip-side, if I didn't have confidence in drummer to make a good system, I wouldn't have waited this long. I have ridden on one of the jardine systems available and must say I could easily see me acquiring that system. But I haven't. I told myself to wait till all the ponies were in and to hear the final verdict from the main man himself. Anyone feel free to comment of challenge me, but I'm still on the fence. I am getting anxious and will not wait another half a year to get an exhaust system. Stock runs the bike fine, but it just doesn't let you feel like you have 1125cc turning at 10k rpm. o...POST A VIDEO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!! +sound! ST |

Yeah, sorry guys. I mean High Quality, or High Def if that suits better. I really want a Drummer but would like to hear/see the production version in a little better clarity. I mean no disrespect at all, just $1k is a lot of money to me. I'd like to make the best educated decision possible. Thanks a lot for the help. Brett |

Well nobody has offered up a better solution so I don't know where to go for a better quality recording. I wonder if UF has kick ass A/V department that would do some recordings for me. |

Oh BTW on my 4 and a half cents worth on the rant on pipe costs nowadays... Drummer is also unique in that it is a per model designed pipe. No "parts bin engineering" or whatever we call it nowadays- those Leo Vince and Termignoni pipes (cans) for the most part were a universal fit product fit to a bent pipe that was model specific. No the Drummer- Your money gets you the real deal baby!

Thank for the vid BG. Is there an ETA for when they should be rolling onto the shelves? Also, any thoughts on the fitment between early/late 08s? |

Any of you high rollers that can afford to spend 10% of the cost of a new bike on a slip on pipe have a Jardine you want to sell? Keep me in mind! |

Any of you high rollers that can afford to spend 10% of the cost of a new bike If I spent only 10 grand on the 1125r, I would have plenty of $$$ for extras like the Drummer. But you do have a point, the Drummer is not an insignificant amount of cash. |

$1000.00 is a lot of money , as much as I'm into performance I could not justify that much right now . Besides my cr seems to run really well with the factory setup ! |

I could not justify that much right now me either, good thing thats not something i worry about to much. if that was the case i wouldnt have an 1125, or the other 3 buells that sit in my garage... if its fun AND you can justify it, odds are it took alot of pre thought and the only one it convinced was the wife/gf... lol |

Steeltech I'm gonna help you with what you think you see in the picture....its not a welded solid joint, its a slip fit and no clamp, reason why, there were no clamps in the shop before I sent it out to paul and it wasn't a necessary item to get dyno runs...I didn't finish the metal because once again, it doesn't matter....the finished product will be nicer than the pre-production proto from the spare parts in the shop....I hope all of you guys here previous and those that are just beginning BWB, realize all my exhausts are handbuilt by me, not some of them, all of them, original, SS, and the 1125 now, I'm trying to split my time for production of each one to get the best timing, there will always be a wait for my exhausts but its not my wish, you all know I'm picky and if I don't like it I don't expect anyone else to like it, good news is that I'm working long hours to get the 1125 stuff going quickly and will be trying to keep up the best I can....thanks to all that make it possible for me to keep the passion to make new parts, without you guys there is no purpose....
