D&D really has not yet done their homework. Pipe is loud but doesn't produce power. Maybe re-tuned for drag, might do OK but it hasn't looked good on the dyno. I'm betting like 120 and 68 - unless you have done some serious engine mods and are running exotic fuel. |

Buelltech6,.. Use a Race ECM. The performance and adjustments are so much better. I have a customer who has the same goal in England. And drives, this weekend with the Race ECM and Saron Exhaust. He's waiting on our Exhaust. I am really curious what it brings (-: |

Fresno, Here in Europe, u cannot dragrace without a license. If have been racing in Gainsville, and there the people also have a official drag license?. Buell is not making a acception between drag and road racing, as far as I know. |

Is it stock other than the pipe? If the motor is stock and you do get numbers close to what you are expecting, I would question the accuracy of the dyno. Why would you think you are going to get figures that nobody has ever seen for a stock 1125r? |

I am excited to see the post. What's the prize if we win? I have high hopes baby - 142hp and 82tq. Btw, I am having mine on the dyno tuesday with a d&d also and will try to post it here. |

why do people keep saying that? D&D spent three weeks on my bike and wouldn't give it back till it made power. did a side by side on third reflash also and it made 10 hp more with D&D than stock pipe. The dyno graph on their site is the run with their pipe on factory programming (12/07). We can all agree that original ecu flash was crap. I should call to tell him to post third flash dyno run with the pipe and you would be pretty amazed what the tq. gain was |

D&D pipe looks like a megaphone with the first priority being noise. I hope y'all who run the D&D wear plugs at the very least. |

Mine is stock and put up 128.92 HP 73.57 TQ 28 SEP 2008 Dyno Shootout @ Liberty HD/Buell. Another 1125R went before mine and put up very similar numbers. It was stock as well. Blazin_Buell got 137hp with the D&D and K&N filter I believe http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/290 431/418276.html Rainman1ne, I thought I saw a dyno of yours with the D&D and K&N filter with about 134-137hp? I am curious to see what the numbers turn out to be. Mike (Message edited by kttemplar on January 31, 2009) |

i am expecting these numbers because i have done my math. this bike is more than capable of these numbers. the problem with these bikes when they are stock is this. the exhaust is choking the shit out of them. you can ask any one that put a pipe on. their bike runs better, starts easier, and runs cooler. and yes d&d is a loud pipe but it will make power.after tuning i hope to see 142 and 85. most of you are going to say this guy is retarted.i will prove it to be true. for those of you who agree, thank you. |

when you make that power some will tell you to take the pipe off because its "killing your power". No exhaust made for our bikes (yes this includes the golden drummer) will not gain more than 10 hp untuned. |

The stocker is adept at power over the whole curve. Pipes that make higher peak HP typically do so at the expense of the rest of the power curve. |

buelltech- maybe im just a little skeptical of running a d&d that leans it out then add a k&n which leans it out more. my R ran 119hp and 65 tq(some where around there maybe it was 64.) i know the dyno wasnt that great or the dyno operator. im pretty sure it was there first time using it. i hope u get 135 hp. |

i totally agree with helpin it breathe better. but how long gain it breath better running 15to1 a/f now that we have options to tune. a pipe like the d&d makin 135ish stock form should do really well. look at a force pipe. great power makin |

so we still don't know results? I'd guess 138-140hp and ~80 ft/lbs. Mine put down 131 and 75 stock. |

Gary what kind of guard or cover do you have on the bottom of your forks? |

what u see are straps to limit the forks from extending. helps with launching when drag racing. |

So you ran them through the axle? It's kind of hard to tell in that pic what they are. |

probably not the strap itself. people use threaded rod and a couple of nuts and washers. |
