Does anyone know of an aftermarket windscreen for the 1125CR? Really just looking for a little more wind protection.

Thanks

Not aware of anything in the works...we're doing a CF one, but it'll be the same as stock so that doesn't count.

It'd be interesting to do a mini- Uly type screen for it..that is a separate clear one that attaches similarly to the uly clear screen.

One wonders if someone is interested in wind protection why they'd even LOOK at the CR...

Oh, I don't know, maybe somebody that can only house a single bike, likes upright bars, and 87.6% of the time rides around town... but occasionally likes to head out.

Al - That is exactly what I am looking for!

Be Honest with you guys, I am looking for a really cool customer of mine that purchased a CR a few months ago. He came off of a Uly and really digs the CR's performance. We also did the Riser Bar Conversion for him and he has the full set of Buell Bags. Guy can ride! Just needs a little less wind blast.

I'm pinging ZeroG to see if they'd be interested in working with me to produce such a thing.

That was my problem as well. I like the CR, but when I switched out handlebars, that sat me right up in the wind. I even thought about trying to fit the ULY tall windshield on.
I like the clubman bars for commuting and track days. But if I think about slowing down, enjoying the view, spending a week in the saddle, I would rather sit up a little taller. I haven't done any cross country touring since I low sided on some gravel in a left turn on a winding moutain road. Had to ride 300 mile to get back home with my right leg dangling where the foot peg used to be. Let just say after that I knew alot more about my tensor fasciae latae than I wanted to!
All good fun!

Next time (hopefully there won't be a next time) steal a passenger peg--if you had them mounted. It can be rigged to improvise for a rider peg, at least on my XB it can?

Al,

That rocks! Thanks for checking into it! I'm sure it might take a while but if you come up with something for production I am sure he will buy one.
